Tower Guards Pablo and Tyrone are the antagonists of The Backyardigans episode, Break Out!
Biography[]
When they are first seen, they are entering the room of Princesses Uniqua and Tasha to deliver tea and crumpets. They go to the bottom floor to check the security cameras and traps, and then start guarding the top floor again. The princesses, who have escaped their room, narrowly escape the guards' sight. Tyrone heads down a floor, and the princesses take a secret hallway to a secret staircase. They almost make it to the end without tripping any lasers, but when they do, the guards are alerted. They chase them from opposite ends of the secret staircase, but run into each other when the princesses get away. They chase them to an elevator, which they take to the bottom floor.
The princesses go to the top of the elevator so the guards don't see them when it stops, and when the guards are looking around for them, they leave. They almost get away, but drop the Magic Mirror (Austin) that they had been using the whole time to get through the tower. Pablo picks it up, thinking it's a real mirror, despite it talking. He makes some funny faces into it, which Austin mimics. Tyrone frustratedly grabs it away from him, and forces him to reveal the location of the princesses. He just yells at them to run, and there is a long chase through the first floor. The guards force Austin to reveal their location in the entrance hall, and they almost capture them, but they use rocket boosters on their shoes to get away, the guards try to follow them, but fall in the moat. The princesses help them out, and they let them be free.
