The '''Toxic Beasts''' were a race of monsters spawned from the toxic sludge caused by pollution and the next set of monsters to fight the Mega Rangers in ''Power Rangers Megaforce''. They were a species similar to the Orgs who desired to remake the Earth into their own paradise using pollution. They served as the secondary antagonists of ''Power Rangers Megaforce.'' 

== History ==

=== Past ===
The Toxic Beasts were created from pollution emitted from a toxic waste dump leakage some years ago with Bigs and Bluefur emerged as their leaders. Their objective was to turn the Earth into a toxic planet, which would be a paradise for their kind and a living hell to any other form of life as a way of punishing humanity for their negligence and carelessness to nature responsible for their very creation. Rather than becoming immediate threats to the Earth, their various members went into hiding for the forseeable future. 

=== Megaforce ===
After Creepox was defeated, Warstar lacked the manpower to launch further attacks on the Earth as they have lost all of their monsters. 

Desperate for allies, Admiral Malkor spotted their leaders on Earth after Creepox was destroyed. He sends Vrak to their lair to convince them to join the Warstar army, which they accepted. Bigs agrees to forge an alliance and this motivates the Toxic Mutants to reveal themselves by attacking the Mega Rangers with aid from Hisser. However, the new Robo Knight emerges and destroys Hisser as the newest threat to Warstar and its allies. From this point on, the Toxic Mutants take the lead in the war against humanity, imposing a new series of challenges to the Mega Rangers and prove to be stronger than their forerunners.  

Determined to nip this problem in the bud, Vrak hires Psychotick to drain Robo Knight's energy and render him powerless in order to reprogram to evil. He lures Robo Knight in by attacking an amusement park and succeeds in capturing him with his Tick Attack. While Robo Knight's energy is getting drained, Vrak send Psychotick to distract the Rangers by draining electricity around town. He fails in doing so but succeeds in pounding the Rangers into submission after teaming up with Vrak in battle. Unfortunately for him, this triggers Robo Knight and he is freed from his confinement and Psychotick is destroyed by Robo Knight's Vulcan Cannon after taking the shot for Vrak. Vrak uses the Zombats to revive him but he is destroyed again by the Gosei Grand Megazord.   

Bigs employed the help of the Shadow Serpent to steal all human shadows to leave no opposition to thier plans. Although the monster easily overwhelms the Power Rangers, and even survives the Knight Dynamic, the Rangers learn to work together and destroy the Shadow Serpent with the Gosei Great Grand Megazord.   

Vrak finds the Mega Rangers out searching for the Wild Sword so employs the help of Distractor to distract them whilst he finds it. The monster first appears as a giant where the Rangers confront him and then summon the Gosei Great Megazord. The monster pretends to go down but soon recovers and summons forth his phantom army. The Rangers are shocked but the monsters proves to be inanimate and useless illusions. His ruse is discovered out by Robo Knight since even him appearing to be a giant is an illusion and Robo Knight makes him fall back to human size using his Robo Blade. He holds Distractor off while the Rangers continue towards the Black Mountains. After Vrak tricks the Rangers into releasing the weapon, Vrak steals it and Distractor teleports away from his battle and later accompanies him as the alien tests out the power of his new possession. Distractor is empowered with it, allowing him to give his phantoms physical form and gaining the upper hand. However, the Wild Sword is won over by the Rangers and converts into the Ultra Zords and the Megaforce gains access to thier new power-up, Ultra Mode. They completely overpower Vrak and obliterate Distractor and his army with the Ultra Strike.   

Bigs and Bluefur enlisted the help of Nojoke to capture every human using thier own laughter against them and he manages to capture four of the six Mega Rangers. However, Noah and Robo Knight used his own laughter against him to free the others and the Gosei Grand Megazord destroyed him.   

With the Toxic Mutants' forces dwindling rapidly, Vrak lends the Aurora Box to them and they test it on Dream Snatcher only for him to fail.   

With no monsters left to fight for them, Bigs and Bluefur decide to use the Aurora Box to fufil thier goal themselves. With their power enhanced a hundred times, the Toxic Mutants become strong enough to match and outclass even the Ultra Mode but they are ultimately outmatched themselves by their foes' unbreakable fighting spirit and Bigs is obliterated. However, he survives in the Aurora Box which Bluefur later enlarges with the Zombats to spread ooze around Harwood County. Whilst the Mega Rangers go to fight Bigs, Bluefur fights Robo Knight but is knocked down by the Knight Dynamic and grown by Vrak's Zombats. Robo Knight changes into the Lion Mechazord and form the Gosei Great Grand Megazord although it is quickly dismantled using by Bluefur's club. However, before he can stomp Robo Knight into scrap, the Mega Rangers destroy Bigs and the Gosei Ultimate Command Ship tears through the side of the Aurora Box and obliterates it before shooting him down and forming the Gosei Ultimate Megazord. They easily overwhelm Bluefur and destroy his staff using their Double Sword Spin Attack and then finish him off with the Ultimate Strike.   

On Halloween, Glytcher (the last survivor of the Toxic Mutants) assumes the role of a fortune teller but realizes the role of the Mega Rangers in his brother Gremlin's death. He starts causing mischief around the city but is defeated by Emma with flour and, though he is enlarged by Vrak's Zombats, the Megazords make short work of him using his ticklish nature. With Glytcher's demise, the threat posed by the Toxic Mutants is over and their entire race was extinct.   

=== Legacy ===
The defeat of the Toxic Mutants leaves Warstar with no warriors or allies to attack Earth with so Admiral Malkor goes into hibernation for a power-up whilst Vrak creates the Robots for his own plans. However, Malkor was eventually defeated by the Mega Rangers and his plan of wiping out all life on Earth by draining out the oxygen from atmosphere of the planet failed. However, Vrak survived and continued creating his own plans of taking over the Earth.
