Toxic Jack is a villain in Matt Hatter Chronicles. A longstanding minion of Lord Tenoroc, he is a ghost who fills people with fear.

Season 4[]
Ghost in the Chronicles[]
Toxic Jack is summoned by Lord Tenoroc to terrorize the street kids living in Carnival City. He attacks Bella, whose piercing scream brings Roxanna, Gomez, and Spike running to her. When Roxanna and Gomez ask, Bella says that it was a ghost. Roxanna summons Matt, which delights Toxic Jack, as it goes according to his plan.
When Bella explains that the ghost went right through her, Gomez reasons that it was Toxic Jack, who Matt remembers. Finding some ectoplasm, Roxanna, with some help from Matt, Gomez, and Spike, starts tracking Toxic Jack. However, he trips Roxanna and taps Gomez's shoulder, especially frightening the latter. Eventually, he teleports behind the trio. Matt tries to blast him with a Pulse Blast, but the shot goes right through Toxic Jack (although it does give him a bit of indigestion). After he tells them his name, Roxanna tries to attack him, but in vain. When Matt refuses to, Toxic Jack pulls his own finger, letting some gas out. Roxanna tries to fight Toxic Jack again, but he jumps through her, filling her with fear. Matt tries to blast him with a Freeze Blast, but Toxic Jack knocks the Cell Blaster out of his hand and steals it as bait for a trap.
Toxic Jack hides in a sanctuary and uses his ectoplasmic earwax to create walls and paintings. Matt and his friends follow the trail while noting the suspicious ease of it. Toxic Jack goes on the roof and announces his new Haunted Funhouse. Sensing a trap, Matt goes after Toxic Jack by himself and tells Roxanna and Gomez to stay until he gives his signal.
Matt finds his Cell Blaster in front of a mirror, but does not see his reflection; he is unaware that it is actually a Spirit Trap that feeds on a person's essence. Suddenly, he falls through a trapdoor and slides into a hook, losing his Cell Blaster and the Chronicle. Toxic Jack grabs the Chronicle and teleports right into it, freeing the Black Knight, Pandora, Basim, and Lycan. Matt manages to shake him out, but Toxic Jack escapes.
Roxanna and Gomez (who took the runway) get into the house and find the Spirit Trap. They almost fall through the trapdoor, but pull themselves up. Matt hears them and tells them to stay where they are and that the house is overrun with supervillain ghosts. The ghosts of the villains attack the trio. Matt manages to get back up, and when he is told of the Spirit Trap, he suddenly gets an idea.
Matt, Roxanna, and Gomez ride off on a bumper car while the ghosts terrorize Carnival City. Upon meeting Lucius, Matt learns that Toxic Jack is now in the Helter Skelter. Matt heads off there and finds Toxic Jack, who attacks. Upon hearing Roxanna and Gomez arrive, Matt goads Toxic Jack into going after him. Toxic Jack chases Matt down a chute, but tumbles into the Spirit Trap, causing him to go hologram and allowing Matt to capture him. The ghost villains go back into the Chronicle.
Powers and Abilities[]
Like most other ghosts in fiction, Toxic Jack is able to go through material. He is capable of changing size and disappearing, as well as summoning ghostly weapons and using his ghostly earwax to create mazes. Despite his appearance, he is also very intelligent.
Appearance[]
Toxic Jack is a tall, thin ghost who has white skin with green bumps. He was apparently a criminal in life, as he wears a black and white prison outfit. His hair is green and black, indicating that he died in an oil accident.
Trivia[]
- Unlike most other villains in the show, Toxic Jack is never shown interacting with Tenoroc.
- Oddly, Zombie Boss doesn't appear in Toxic Jack's episode, not even as a cameo.
