Toxoid is one of Grimlord's key lieutenants in the Virtual Warriors and a major antagonist in VR Troopers. He was often seen commanding the organic-looking mutants in Grimlord's army. He tended to be looked down upon by Grimlord and his other lieutenants for his cowardly behavior in battle, often running away from fighting the VR Troopers when he was on the verge of defeat.
He is voiced by Dave Mallow, who also voiced Jamitov Hymem in the English dub of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.
Biography[]
Toxoid took part in Grimlord's scheme to mutate Jeb, Ryan's pet dog, into a mutant warrior for his army. After Ryan managed to help Jeb regain himself, Toxoid appeared to spray Jeb with a deadly foam, but Ryan was able to take Jeb back to the lab and save him just in time.
Later, after Grimlord mutated JB Reese into Transmutant with a special slime developed by Strickland, Toxoid provided Grimlord with several of his mutants - Venobot, Bugbot and Crabor - to have fight the new mutant to test its power. After Ryan managed to free JB from the slime's influence, Toxoid's mutants went after JB and Ryan alongside a team of Mutant Skugs but the pair fought them off.
Toxoid was not seen after Grimlord self-destructed the Virtual Dungeon, having presumably been destroyed along with it.
