Toy Chica is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
She is the redesigned, "Toy" variant of Chica the Chicken that is made to entertain and protect children, but turns hostile in the night and tries to kill Jeremy Fitzgerald. The shift in behavior is strange, but it's implied that she was either tampered with by William Afton or possessed by one of his many victims.
Like Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica first starts at the Show Stage. She is known to approach through the Main Hall and Party Room 1, also appearing in The Office's main entrance at times. Another path she may take begins with her entering through Party Room 1 before crawling into the Left Air Vent to make her way to The Office.
Though she is usually the second animatronic to leave the Show Stage on the first few nights, she is very inactive on later nights. This is due to Foxy taking her place in the entrance hall, preventing her from leaving. However, she will become active again starting on Night 5, as will the other Toy animatronics.
When the player spots Toy Chica in the Left Air Vent's blind spot, they must equip the Freddy Fazbear Mask in order to get rid of her. Neglecting to put the Freddy Head on will result in the player getting killed by Toy Chica.
As displayed by a minigame within FNaF 2, the toy animatronics are possessed. They were killed by William Afton, which is why the puppet within one of FNaF 2’s minigames needs to put the bodies into animatronics to give them a place to be.
Five Nights at Freddy's 3[]
In The Office, Toy Chica's mask appears in The Office in a dirty box along with the other toy animatronics. She can be seen if player doesn't check the ventilation. Toy Chica is later burned down,
Five Nights at Freddy's 4[]
Toy Chica, along with Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy, makes a minor appearance in FNaF 4 as a small figurine during the Night 3 minigame. She can be seen standing below a little girl with her beak detached, as a possible reference to FNaF 2.
Ultimate Custom Night[]
Toy Chica appears in Ultimate Custom Night. She will enter the office from the left trapdoor and there's no way to stop her from doing this. The player must quickly put on the Freddy mask to stop Toy Chica from attacking. If the player stares directly at her while wearing the mask, she will leave a little quicker. In comparison to Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica enters the office faster but is easier to fool with the Freddy mask.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted []
Toy Chica appears in the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 minigame section, where she behaves exactly like she did in the second game.
Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery[]
Toy Chica appears in the AR game Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery as one as the animatronics the player can encounter and send after other players. She first appeared in the Christmas Update, but with Toy Freddy's release, she can now be encountered normally like most of the animatronics. Toy Chica will walk around the player and taunt the player, occasionally fake-charging them. Unlike other animatronics, when Toy Chica goes haywire in front of the player, the player must immediately hold the Freddy Fazbear Mask button to equip the mask and stare at her, or else be jumpscared. When defeated, there's a small chance to win her CPU or plush suit.
She also has two skins, Highscore Toy Chica (a mostly monotone blue Toy Chica with "High Score" on her black bib and a pixelated cupcake, becoming a red and blue version of herself with a "Game Over" on her bib and an eviller looking cupcake without her beak) and Catrina Toy Chica (a Day of the Dead themed alt with green skin, an outfit based off La Catrina de los Toletis, and her cupcake changing to a pink sugar skull.

Toy Chica was built to be a more aesthetically pleasing and stylish model to the original Chica that Ralph deemed ugly and smelly.
Chica is a yellow chick with blue eyes, purple eyelids, long eyelashes, an orange beak in some images and orange feet. She has a few stray "feathers" that stick out haphazardly from the top of her head. She has blushed cheeks like the other "Toy" animatronics, though hers are pink, rather than the rosy shade of red the others bear.
Unlike her counterpart, Toy Chica has a more defined body shape, which is noticeably curvy rather than simply round and ovular as the original Chica's. Just like the original Chica, Toy Chica wears a bib. However, the text on Toy Chica's bib reads "LET'S PARTY!" rather than "LET'S EAT!!!". She wears a pink garment on her lower body and almost always carries a pink cupcake with blue eyes, similar to the one her counterpart held on the Show Stage.
While on the Show Stage, Toy Chica can be seen with her normal eyes and beak. However, these are removed once she leaves the stage, and she can be seen beakless and eyeless, save for her endoskeleton eyes, as she is seen through the cameras in various rooms. Without her beak, her endoskeleton teeth, which resemble human teeth, are visible. Even though they are only visible from certain angles and with the help of an extra light source, she appears to have hooks in the back of her mouth; these are possibly used to attach her beak.
In Five Nights at Freddy's 3, the only thing left is her head, missing eyes and the bottom part of her beak.
Highscore Toy Chica's appearance is neon bluish-black in color with glowing blue aura effects, and sports orange/yellow irises. Her forearms appear more bluer and contain poly-count textures. The "LET'S PARTY!" text for her bib is replaced by "HIGH SCORE" in a pixelated font.
In her attack mode, the glowing aura effect's color changed from blue to purple and red, eyes removed to reveal red sclera, and her bib text now reads as "GAME OVER". Like her original counterpart, her beak is also removed.

She reveals her endoskeleton eyes more than any other animatronic in the game.
She seems to hold her cupcake wherever she goes, even when she attacks, but the cupcake is not visible when she is in the Left Air Vent.
The cupcake that she holds is also the same as the reward for the Cupcake Challenge on Custom Night.
She is one of the animatronics that didn't appear in several teaser images for Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the three other ones being Toy Freddy, Chica, and BB.
Toy Chica is one of the animatronics that doesn't appear in the second game's trailer, the other being The Puppet, but her poster can still be seen.
Although the wording on Toy Chica's bib was changed from "LET'S EAT!!!", the old phrase is still associated with her on the posters throughout the pizzeria.
She with Mangle and Bonnie will appear in the hall but won't enter that way. The noise when an animatronic is near won't trigger when she is there.

In the Ultimate Custom Night update, Toy Chica’s game over the line “You won’t get tired of my voice... will you?” is a reference to FNAF World, in which she says the same line.
One of Toy Chica's death lines in Ultimate Custom Night implies she'll eat the player. It's unknown if she was joking or serious.
Another of her death lines may break the fourth wall, with "You won't get tired dying, will you?" possibly indicating she knows the player can resume from a save point after she kills him.
Her comment, "Where's my beak? Lodged in your forehead of course!" may imply that she was the assailant in the infamous "Bite of 87" incident at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza of that year, where someone (possibly Jeremy, who worked there on that year) was attacked by an animatronic, who tore out the frontal lobe of the victim's brain.
There’s a kid in one of the FNaF 4 minigames who has a figure of Toy Chica with a broken beak. This kid is theorized to possess Toy Chica, along with other kids in those minigames possessing the other toys.
