~ Toyman threatening to kill a busload of children.
I have rights. I have nothing to say to you!
~ Toyman's last words.
Winslow Schott, better known as Toyman, based on DC Comics' character of the same name, is a minor antagonist in the animated film Superman: Doomsday. While he only appears in a handful of scenes, he still has enough impact on the story and is the root cause of the Superman clone's descent into villainy.
Toyman had a very childlike demeanor, as he hated sharing and always referred to people as toys to play with and break whenever he liked. He's also shown to be somewhat cowardly, as he enjoyed killing helpless women and children but would always run away or panic as soon as Superman posed a threat to his crimes.
Toyman appears about halfway into the movie, taking an entire bus full of children hostage and threatening to drop them off a building if the cops don't let him get away with stolen money. The cops retreat while Lois Lane sneakily saves most of the kids, but then Toyman gets alerted to her presence with her and a little girl still inside the bus. He then throws the bus off the building, but Superman (actually a clone) fortunately saves the bus and defeats Toyman, leaving him to be arrested.
Later on though, Toyman escaped prison and held several children hostage at a daycare center, and in the process murdered the 4-year-old Katie Albert. Superman's clone sees the news report and then flies over to the police station to abduct Toyman, dropping him from several hundred feet in the air and killing him, thus avenging Katie.
