Villains Overview

Stand down, old timer.
~ One of the Trackers to Alpha Trion.

The Trackers are major antagonists in the 2024 animated science fiction action film Transformers One. They are the enforcers of Sentinel Prime and Airachnid.

Personality and Traits[]

The Trackers don't show much general behavior apart from one insulting Alpha Trion, they are typically silent, unintelligent and blindly carry out every order of Sentinel, they are shown to be brutal to those they are ordered to stop.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Cybertronian Physiology: As Cybertronians, the Trackers possess numerous enhanced abilities due to their mechanical nature.
    • Superhuman Durability: Trackers are capable of surviving powerful hits, although they seem to be weak to laser knives and laser blasts.
    • Longevity: Like other Cybertronians, they have very long lifespans.
    • Flight: Trackers are easily capable of flying in their air vehicle forms and have rocket thrusters in their feet.
    • Transformation: Like other Cybertronians, Trackers can transform into Cybertronian air vehicles. They can additionally transform both of their arms to have wrist-mounted blasters.

Abilities[]

  • Expert Combatant: Several Trackers manage to fight against the High Guard, Elita and Orion.
  • Expert Marksman: Trackers used blaster rifles and wrist-mounted blasters on their arm.

Equipment[]

  • Cybertronian rifles: Along with their built-in wrist lasers, Trackers are often armed with laser blasters, which were wielded by the High Guard and several Primes like Alpha Trion. These rifles can fire lasers with several modes of explosives and stun shots. The rifle also has a laser sight for better aim.

History[]

The Trackers were first seen helping Sentinel and Airachnid out with delivering energon to the Quintessons. However, the Quintesson High Commander isn't pleased with the amount that Sentinel has given, prompting Sentinel to order the Trackers to triple the works shifts of the miners so that they can pay whatever's left of their debt to the Quintessons. However, they are unaware that four miners Orion Pax, Elita-1, B-127, and D-16 have witnessed the scene.

However, Airachnid spotted the four miners following the Quintessons' departure, so she sets up an ambush in the caverns, sending four of the Death Trackers to open fire at Alpha Trion and the four miners. Though Alpha Trion manage to stay behind while allowing the miners to escape by taking down several of the Death Trackers, he ends up being attacked by Airachnid, who turns him over to be murdered by Sentinel. Around the same time, four Silver Trackers were able to track down the miners, but thanks to the new cogs that Alpha Trion provided, the miners were able to defeat them, with D-16 killing the last one.

The Trackers were later seen helping Airachnid in attacking the High Guard's base, which allowed them to capture D-16, B-127, Starscream, and half of the High Guard. Fortunately, Orion, Elita-1 and the other half of the High Guard were able to hijack an energon train in order to set an ambush on Sentinel's tower, allowing them to release the captives and engage into a battle against the Trackers, destroying most of them. Several Trackers manage to fight off the Miners and High Guard, while a few remained to fight D-16 as he distracts Sentinel from having him follow his friends to capture Airachnid. After Sentinel's crimes were exposed, several Gold Trackers tried to stop D-16 from killing him but they were all defeated.

It is unknown what happened to the Trackers following Sentinel's death at the hands of D-16, who became known as Megatron and renamed the High Guard as the Decepticons. It is likely the Trackers were all scrapped by Optimus Prime and his newly organization, the Autobots.

Trivia[]

  • They bear a resemblance to the jet mode Vehicons from Transformers: Prime.
  • They are similar to Vehicons from Transformers Beast Machines, as they are Drones without a mind of their own and probably without a spark that automatically obey Sentinel.
    • Their voices are more robotic than Sentinel, Arachnid, and the others, suggesting they are drones. Furthermore, they show little regard for their own lives, don't react to major injuries, are all identical outside of paintjobs (compared to the Seekers, which show minor variations) and are particularly prone to being easily destroyed (from being torn apart to exploding).
