Kazuki, better known as Trash II by Naofumi Iwatani, is a minor antagonist in The Rising of the Shield Hero franchise.

He is an alchemist hailing from Glass' World, using his talented gifts to earn the people's favor with his revolutionary inventions.

He was voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana in Japanese and by Brandon McInnis in English.

Appearance[]

Kazuki wore a samurai-like armor over what appears to be a school uniform. He also had his hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Personality[]

Kazuki is in a near constant state of greed, displaying an insatiable need for power and authority over others. He is a self-proclaimed, womanizing genius, blatantly arrogant, and always boastful about his accomplishments. This denotes a want to be special and better than everyone around him.

He was nicknamed Trash II for a reason by Naofumi Iwatani, because although he bears no physical similarities to him, he was very similar to the first Trash, Aultcray Melromarc XXXII, when in regards as to how he would react to his plans not going his way: Breaking down into childish rants, outbursts, and tantrums. He was also named that because Naofumi is just that petty with nickname, and because he didn't bother to learn his real name.

His level was unknown, but he boasted it to be very high. At the very least, his good qualities are his kindness to his harem.

Once he was transformed into a homunculi zombie, all former traces of his human self were gone. He became volatile and hostile towards any living being that came his way.

Biography[]

There is nothing known about his past whatsoever, but his modified school uniform implies that Kazuki was reborn into Glass' World after he died in an alternative Japan. He gained quite the reputation for his alchemy experimentations and swordsmanship that would even impress Kyo Ethnina, aka the Book Hero, enough to catch his attention.

He was first seen boasting about his abilities and how he was chosen to wield the Vassal Katana, with Naofumi Iwatani immediately showing disdain for his obnoxious and haughty demeanor.
