Trick Carter is the main antagonist of the season one episode "Homecoming" in S.W.A.T.. He was the founder of a business called Murder LLC. He was an assassin who was hired for by his clients such as the Volkov Brothers to carry out murders for profit.

Biography[]

Trick was once imprisoned for a crime he committed but was paroled. He founded a group with three other men called the Murder LLC which he was inspired by Murder Incorporated that did about a thousand contract killings. On his first job, he killed three members of the 20th Street Hammers while his men filmed the act before fleeing in their car. The result of the killings led to increase tension between the local gangs, specifically the 20th Street Hammers and the Forty-Twos, as they thought another gang initiated the attack. Trick sent a video of the triple homicide to a man for profit.

While Hondo and the LAPD were investigating the crime, Trick met with the Volkov brothers to pitch his services to them. While speaking to Stefan Volkov, and his brother Ivan Volkov, the former tells Trick to kill Rick Kershner as revenge for his actions that caused Ivan's voice problems. Trick found Rick Kershner and killed him while filming it. He later returned to the Volkov brothers to show them the video of the killing. They were happy and impressed and continued their business with Trick. Stefan told Trick to kill another man named, Nate Wilson, for not accepting his business and instructed him to kill his wife before killing him. Trick agreed as this business would be cost more which Stefan did not mind.

Later that night, Trick and the men of the Murder LLC attempted to kill Nate Wilson and his wife only for Hondo to tell them over the phone to get to safety since they were targeted. As the targets of the kill got to safety, the LAPD closed in on the Murder LLC until they ended up in a park. Surrounded by multiple S.W.A.T. officers, Trick tried to think about what to do under this situation. As one of his men asked what they should do while panicking, Trick shot the man in the back of the head killing him to the shock of the other men in the car since the man was interrupting his thinking. The driver managed to escape the car whereas Trick pointed his gun at him. As Hondo was telling Trick and the other passenger to surrender, the other man tried to escape from the car, but Trick shot and killed him. After killing him, Trick reluctantly got out the car and attempted to surrender. However, he pointed his gun at Hondo in an attempt to kill him while faking his surrender leading Hondo to shoot and kill Trick.
