Tricky Devil

The Tricky Devil is a minor antagonist in Dragon Quest XI. It is a mischievous demon that resides in The Manglegrove to pull pranks on unwitting people.

Biography[]

When the Luminary and Erik needed go back to Cobblestone, they traveled through the Manglegrove forest, however, a bridge wa broken and a dog was following them. The Luminary then found out that the reason why the above happened was because Tricky Devil decided to destroy the bridge as a prank to Flint the woodcutter, however the little monster was fed up with Flint when he fixed the bridge again, so it turned Flint into a dog and destroyed the bridge. Tricky Devil then hid in a nearby treasure chest to scare people. As a result, the Luminary and Erik came to the treasure chest. And Tricky Devil jumped out to scare them, but failed, it then tried to turn them into dogs, which also failed as they avoided the beam. After getting teased by Erik, Tricky Devil decided to fight them, however it was quickly overwhelmed by Luminary and Erik and was defeated, disappearing in purple mist.

Personality[]

As its name suggests, Tricky Devil is very mischievous. It likes to trick people with pranks, however his pranks often gone too far.
