Biography[]
He first appeared in "Combat Camp" when Hop Pop drops off Anne, Sprig and Polly at daycare while he and Bessie go to a convention. At first, Tritonio seems like a nice daycare owner, but reveals himself as a combat camp instructor much to Anne, Sprig, and Polly's delight. Tritonio lets them pick their own weapons and trains with them. While Sprig and Polly are thrilled to train with him, Anne is not due to having a bad history with her teachers. Sometime later, Tritonio talks to Anne, saying that he sees potential in her, and gives her a special sword called the Ancestral Sword. They train to fight together, and Anne warms up to him.
On their last day, Tritonio asks Anne, Sprig, and Polly to accompany him on a mission to steal a precious jewel called the Tiger Moth's Eye from a moving train. Sprig and Polly question him about it, which Tritonio responds to by telling them that it's all just an act. When they get on the train and get the jewel, Tritonio double-crosses them and takes the jewel for himself. He reveals that he is actually a train robber who used them to help him get the jewel, which he probably couldn't have done on his own. However, they manage to escape and chase after Tritonio, and Anne fights him off with the sword he gave her. After defeating Tritonio, the toad guards of the train arrest him, but not before saying how proud he is of Anne.
In "Newts in Tights" Tritonio appears as leader of a band of newt rebels called the Merry Band. After he, Anne, and Sprig save his friends from the Frobots he agrees to join their resistance against King Andrias.
Tritonio later joins the battle against Andrias' forces and then witness the Newtopia Castle enter through a portal as Andrias and his forces launch their invasion on Earth. Despite that Tritonio continue the battle, he would then witness the Newtopia reappear and then crash land. When Lady Olivia announced their victory, he cheered only to witness Amphibia's red moon headed towards Amphibia.
Trivia[]
