The Troll is a one-shot villain in Wander Over Yonder.

Appearance

The troll is a small teal humanoid that feeds the offenses caused by his insults. When this happens he grow larger thus turning him a dangerous giant. He only has one weakness; if the people who tries to offend ignore his insults he shrinks. Insults his opponents until they are enraged which makes him grow larger, once there is a response. He shrinks when his insults are ignored.

Biography

While visiting Baaaaa-halla, the Prince Cashmere and Ram Guards's planet, Wander and Sylvia encounter this mean and greedy troll who's been trying to steal the food for the big feast Prince Cashmere and his companies are holding.

The troll insults the Ram Guards and every time they react, he gets bigger and stronger, so he combats the guards with ease. Sylvia is determined to help the Ram Guards fight the creature, but Wander doesn't help the right way and sits out. When the Troll finally reaches the top, he tries to insult Wander. But Wander ignores his insults, causing the Troll to shrink. Sylvia also ends understanding what makes stronger to the troll and takes example of his friend.

Finally, Cashmere and the Ram Guards understand that they were only making the troll stronger. So they ignore his insults, thus making the troll shrank until it became small again. At the feat, the troll begs people to pay attention to him, only for Wander to trap him in a cup.

Trivia

• This troll is a reference to virtual trolls; when Cashmere asks Wander and Sylvia why aren't they doing nothing to stop troll, Sylvia answer that getting him and the rest of Ram Guards upset makes him stronger and Wander suggest "Don't feed". It is the same moral that says that it mustn't feed virtual trolls by reacting to their insults.
