The True Brave (正統勇者) is a minor antagonist of Taiwanese animated series Brave Animated Series, based on the comic Brave Series (勇者系列) by Yellow Book. He was the true brave in Brave Kingdom, but generally, he has become a holocaust egotist since he thought anyone didn't recognize what he did things right.
He is voiced by Taiwanese voice actor and singer T-y Chang.
Biography[]
True Brave was once a Brave acknowledged and supported by the citizens of the Brave Kingdom for aligning with its ideology. Yet, citizens hated he sponged off themself, he faced scornful remarks, ridicule, and even had his sword maliciously trampled. This drove him to slaughter not only demons but also human beings. He was subsequently charged with violating the laws of the Brave Kingdom and placed on the most wanted list. After that, he began jailbreaking.
Sword Brave and Dragon Brave were ordered by the Brave Guild to capture True Brave, and during the chase they came to a small human village, where he was about to be captured when he escaped. He headed towards an ancient temple, and they followed him until they realized that the temple was dedicated to an evil god, and they saw clues that True Brave was summoning the god in order to destroy the world. They came to the altar that extended from the temple to the cliffs outside, and realized that True Brave used his blood to make the gem on the altar, but the summoning failed. True Brave attacked from behind, but Dragon Brave was unable to defend himself against his sword, which had been stained with her blood, and was thrown at the altar, forcing the gem to glow. While the light shined down on a rocky outcrop at the edge of the sea, the cliff was crumbling and the three Braves fall, Dragon Brave descended to rescue Sword Brave and True Brave, who were falling. Then they planned to take him back to the Brave Kingdom to be executed. This summoning ritual causes the Fallen Mad Demon to come ashore from the sea.
Personality[]
True Brave is a self-centered man who doesn't want to hear any ridicule or criticism from others, and because he still believes that being a Brave is a noble profession, he has become neurotic and paranoid. But before he became a Brave, the residents of Brave Kingdom respected the profession and he was proud of it. Although he murdered human beings, he still saved children.
Appearance[]
True Brave has deep-blue hair season 1, but gray hair in season 2. He has pink eyes and his right eye is blinded, khaki skin and scruffy face. He wears grey coat and horse boots, deep-purple pants and cloak with a broken sword.

- In the original comic version, he had two disciples, one male and one female, who regarded him as their master. Sword Brave and Dragon Brave killed him when they caught him. After that, the disciples broke their relationship with him and became Brave.
