The Trunkov Family are minor antagonists of Pixar's 12th full-length animated feature film Cars 2, the second installment in the Cars franchise. They are group of a lemon family formed by their leader Vladimir Trunkov, their work for Professor Zündapp and Sir Miles Axlerod.

Biography

Cars 2

At the Oil Rig, Pacific Ocean some Trunkovs were with their second leader Professor Zündapp. When C.H.R.O.M.E. agent Finn McMissile was sneaking in and spying on the camera, some Trunkovs died in an explosion and other Trunkovs with other lemons surrounded him to kill him.

At the Japan race of the World Grand Prix, a brown Trunkov with Fred Pacer, Towga Gremlin and Acer surrounded Finn McMissile to kill him for protecting Mater, later when Towga died and Acer gets up at a Sushi restaurant, the brown Trunkov and Fred Pacer were defeated and the former killed by McMissile at the end of the first World Grand Prix.

Inside Stephenson, on the cameras that were uploaded by Finn and Holley in Italy, Vladimir Trunkov and Tolga Trunkov with other black Trunkovs were passing on the road behind the other Lemon families.

Inside the Porto Corsa Casino, Vladimir and the other Lemon heads greeted Victor Hugo at the meeting. Later they were shocked that Lightning McQueen decided to use Allinol.

Before the starting of the London World Grand Prix, after Miles lied to McQueen about saving his fuel, Allinol, Vladimir appears with Victor, Tubbs Pacer, J. Curby Gremlin, and Professor Z watching McQueen racing and preparing to kill him, but when Zündapp failed to kill Mater and got scared by Shiftwell, Vladimir and the others decided to kill McQueen.

After Tony Trihull's death, Grem and Acer's defeat, and Professor Zündapp faced his defeat by the spies, the Lemons with Vladimir and the Trunkovs appeared surrounding Mater, Lightning McQueen, Finn McMissile, and Holley Shiftwell on the verge of killing them. Mater tried to redeem them but they refused to redeem themselves. Near to the end, Finn takes out one Trunkov with one of each of the other lemon families while Holley crashes two Pacers into two more of them. Vladimir himself gets blinded by Flo's headlights and arrested by Sheriff.

Cars 2: The Video Game

In Cars 2: The Video Game, some Trunkovs appear in the attack mode of the game.

Personalities

They are described as malicious, sadistic and minor jerks, as they enjoyed "The Death of Allinol" as a celebration with the other lemon families. They are also cowards after getting defeated by The Radiator Springs residents.

Trivia:

• The Trunkovs are based on ZAZ Zaporozhets, a Soviet car model assembled in Ukrainian SSR. Despite this, the Trunkov Family is implied to hail from Russia, although it's possible that it had both Russian and Ukrainian members, this is due to the real-life ZAZ Zaporozhets being one of the most popular cars in Russia.
• Out of the eleven members of the Trunkov Family, most of the members (one percent, to be exact) in the family were arrested.
  • Vladimir and Tolga and Some black Trunkovs are the only regular Trunkovs who were arrested in London.
• Out of the four Lemon families there are, the Trunkov family is the shortest lemon family that ever existed (there are even some).
• Out of the fourteen members of the Trunkov Family, at least seven percent of all the members (some out of fourteen) in the family have died.
  • beige blue Trunkov on the Oil Rig spiral runway and the Brown Trunkov from Tokyois the only Trunkov who died (There may even be some Trunkov who were killed in the Oil Rig runway explosion.).
