Duchess Org TsueTsue is a secondary antagonist of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. She was an arrogant Org priestess, who possessed powerful magical abilities.
She was portrayed by Rei Saito.
Biography[]
Early life[]
TsueTsue was one of the Org leaders, who waged a war against Animarium and were bested by the magical island defenders. Their chief Hyakkimaru managed to best the GaoGod, but was defeated by Tsukumaro Ogami, who used the power of Rouki to defeat the demon. TsueTsue and her partner Yabaiba were left hidden in the Human World, while wating for the time for their race to return and try to take over the Earth once more.
Gaoranger[]
TsueTsue and Yabaiba returned and served under their leader Highness Duke Org Shuten, who led them and created multiple plans of defeating the Gaorangers. Also, the leader of Orgs frequently insulted and humiliated TsueTsue and her partner for failing him. Despite their villainous nature, the duo often served as the mischievous comic relief of the series. TsueTsue resurrects the fallen Orgs and enlarges them to the gigantic size by using her special magical seeds. She is the archenemy of Sae Taiga, the GaoWhite, who frequently calls TsueTsue the hated nickname"grandma".
After Shuten was destroyed by Highness Duke Org Ura, TsueTsue and Yabaiba defected to their new master's side. However, after Ura was apparently destroyed by Shirogane, who freed himself from Rouki's curse, TsueTsue used Ura's remains to transform herself into Highness Duchess Org Onihime. The revelation of this was a great surprise for Yabaiba. Later, after Ura's death, new Lord of Orgs Rasetsu arrived to lead the two dukes and their entire tribe. However, Rasetsu and his right-hand man DoroDoro tricked the Duchess into slicing her horn to kidnap Tetomu, much to TsueTsue's shock when it was revealed that lost of horn killed her. However, TsueTsue was ressurected by Yabaiba returned, who used the energy of the GaoSword to return his mate. During the finale battle with the Gaorangers, the Duke Orgs ressurected all three leaders of the demons, who were defeated and destroyed by the Gaorangers, before merging into the super powerful Ultimate Org Senki. However, the triumph of the Orgs was short-lived, because Gaorangers finally managed to defeat and destroy Senki, finally putting the end to the Orgs. TsueTsue and Yabaiba were considered dead after having the roof and walls of their cave falling onto them and crushing the dukes.
Hurricaneger[]
They were revealed to survive and united with Jakanja to destroy both Gaorangers and Hurricanegers. However, TsueTsue was killed by the two teams' Victory Gadget/Hyakujuken combo.
GoGo Sentai Boukenger vs. Super Sentai[]
TsueTsue was ressurected for the final time by Gordom Engine and Chronos's magic to assist Gajah, Meemy in defeating the united team of the past Super Sentai. The Duchess was used in the end as an ingredient to create a new Precious, the Staff of the Three Philosophers (３賢者の杖 Sankenja no Tsue), that powered Chronos up. After Chronos was destroyed by Burning Legend DaiVoyager, so too was the staff, and TsueTsue along with it.
