The Tubaloid (voiced by Junichi Suwabe) is a tuba-themed Metaloid at the service of Vaglass and under the command of Messiah and Enter and he was the main antagonist in episode 13 of 2012 TV series called Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.
History[]
He was created by Enter with the "roar" Metavirus to confront the Go-Busters in one of Enter's plans. Together, Enter and his monster attacked Tokyo and encountered the Go-Busters. Tubaloid was used by Enter to destroy the Rangers by marking the Go-Busters with his apparently weak sound wave as phase one, and managed to hit the male Busters.
The Tubaloid usually attacked with a burst of sound from the horn on his left shoulder, as well as missiles from the tubes that function as his right fingers.
Later, Enter and his minion returned and again encountered and fought the Rangers. However, this time Go-Busters developed a brilliant plan and countered the attacks of Tubaloid. He was scrapped when all 3 Busters fired their Ichigan Busters in Special Buster Mode, but was replaced with the "Tubaloid, Version 2", which is nearly identical save for the "Ver. 2" put on the right shoulder and use of a different MegaZord type.
Personality[]
Tubaloid was an arrogant, brutish, destructive and pompous Metaloid who will stop at nothing to destroy the Go-Busters and help his master Enter take over the Earth. He acted like a musician, of course for being a tuba-themed monster and enjoyed playing music. However, despite being a villain, he was far tok comedic to be taken seriously and all of his villainy and atrocities were in fact played for laughs.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Sound Wave: Tubaloid can shoot a powerful sound wave from the tuba on his left shoulder.
- Sonic Pulse: Tubaloid's primary ability where he can unleash clear white sound blasts strong enough to repel any adversary. It can also rickshaw off of solid objects.
- Mega Sonic Pulse: In his upgraded state, these blasts are strong enough to knock a victim unconscious, as demonstrated when he used them on Enter.
- Super Strength: Tubaloid was one of the stronger Metaloids even though he didn't manage to take out all five Rangers.
- Buglars Summoning: Tubaloid can summon an army of Tronics to aid him in battle.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat: In addition to his raw tremendous strength, Tubaloid was also a skilled fighter in hand-to-hand combat, allowing him to battle the Rangers effortlessly.

- Missiles: Tubaloid can fire missiles from the tubes that function as his right fingers.
- Right Tube Claws: Tubatron has tube-like appendages for claws on his right hand to whack enemies away.
