Turboman is a minor antagonist in the Perfect Origin Arc of the manga series Kinnikuman.
Biography[]
Past[]
Most of Turboman's past is unknown. What is known is that at some point he travelled to Mount Saint Parfait where he impressed Mirageman to the point he was turned into a Perfect Chojin and he would work his way up the ranks until he became a member of the Perfect Large Numbers.
Kinnikuman (2011)[]
Turboman joined a portion of the Perfect Large Numbers led by Strong the Budo on their assault on the Justice Chojin, wanting to start a war so they could personally subjugate them because of their unexpected power.
After Max Radial was defeated, Turboman and the rest of the first corp of the Perfect Large Numbers would spread across the globe, waiting to fight the best of the Justice Chojin with Turboman waiting in Kremlin's Red Square in Russia for Warsman but instead, he would soon receive a sneak attack from the Devil Chojin Stereo-Cassette King who would use his Devil's Symphony but he broke free of it. Stereo-Cassette King quickly inserted a cassette to attack back, Turboman saw the label and thought that he had inserted the old Kinnikuman cassette, making the same mistake, however, it was revealed that it was Kinnikuman Zebra's cassette, a much stronger opponent before switching to Neptuneman's cassette and then Mammothman's cassette, damaging Turboman with each attack.
Stereo-Cassette King then insert Warsman cassette and placed him into the Palo Special, ready to break apart Turboman's body. Just when Stereo-Cassette King thought he won, Turboman's body began to glow, revealing that he had been taking damage to store up which he would use against Stereo-Cassette King by injecting the power into Stereo-Cassette King's body, making him stronger but soon making his arm explode. Stereo-Cassette King would try to use Warsman's bear claw but that arm would blow up.
Turboman would then stab Stereo-Cassette King's torso with his sharp gauntlet. As Stereo-Cassette King laid there with a hole in his chest, he protested Turboman, stating how he would end him or die trying. Turboman would respond by throwing Stereo-Cassette King into the air and putting him into a hold that would slam him to the ground. Before they hit the ground, Turboman asked why he held onto Warsman's cassette, thinking there was sentimental value, however, Stereo-Cassette King responded by saying that he thought Warsman's techniques would be enough to win.
Satisfied with the answer given, Turboman slammed Stereo-Cassette King body down to the ground, killing him once again.
Turboman would fly back to where Terryman beat Max Radial alongside Crushman and the rest of the Perfect Large Numbers. They would set up the next set of fights with the Perfect Large Numbers fighting against both the Devil Chojin and Justice Chojin.
At the Tottori Sand Dunes, Turboman would wait on the fifth step for his opponent. When Buffaloman appeared, he would quickly deliver a dropkick to him and lifting him up and slamming him to the ground. Turboman would repeatedly punch Buffaloman's head who would headbutt Turboman.
Once Black Hole won his fight, his fight would damage the steps, making it so that when Buffaloman slammed Turboman to the ground, they collapsed, making Buffaloman and Turboman fall into the ring that Springman and Grim Reaper were in, both pairs would agree to form a tag team match.
Turboman would insult Stereo-Cassette King, making Springman leap at him, wanting to avenge his death. Turboman would deliver a clothesline to Springman before trying to stab him. Springman would wrap around Turboman's arm and fling him to the ground before jumping up and down on Turboman, who would kick Springman off of him, almost launching him out of the ring but Buffaloman caught him.
Buffaloman would start to pull at Springman, making him slam around Turboman by letting go of Springman. Springman would leap out of the ring, letting Buffaloman beat on Turboman until Turboman and Grim Reaper teamed up to attack, using Grim Reaper's ignition dress to harm Buffaloman before he sucks in Turboman and would launch Turboman at Buffaloman who tried to pull Springman open again to slam him around Turboman, but he was too fast for this to work.
Springman would watch as Buffaloman got slammed against the world over and over again, Buffaloman gave a thumbs up, letting Springman know to hold back. After Buffaloman caught Turboman and threw him at the wall, Springman realised that Buffaloman was making a set of stairs out of the rock that Springman used the stairs to bounce down and constrict around Turboman.
As he squeezed Turboman's body, Turboman would power up Springman's body, making him hardened and lose all of his elasticity, letting Turboman escape and stab Springman's face and throw him at Buffaloman.
Springman, in a last-ditch attack, would lift up Buffaloman and use him as a battering ram to stab Turboman with Buffaloman's longhorns over and over again. As he does so, Springman's body started to break away until his legs shattered. When his legs broke, Springman would throw Buffaloman at Turboman, making him break through Turboman's gauntlet spikes and impale him through the chest, killing him.
After his death, Grim Reaper would rip open Turboman's body and take his Earth Unit for himself.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Perfect Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin blessed by The Man himself, Turboman has immense strength, speed and durability far above most other Chojin who already have the ability to perform superhuman feats. Additionally, due to being a Perfect Chojin, Turboman doesn't age at all, staying at his peak physical age after millions of years. Other abilities that Chojin have that Turboman likely have are the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
- Earth Unit: With the Earth Unit, Turboman is able to enhance the power of his opponent but not their durability, making the opponent tear apart their body with their own strength. Turboman can also drain the power of an opponent, being able to drain up to 80 million Chojin Power, however, if he absorbs anymore then the Earth Unit will break and all of the power it absorbs will be returned.
Trivia[]
- Turboman's design, much like most of the designs in the Kinnikuman series, was a fan-submitted design which was sent in by Seiji Tanaka of Miyagi.
- Turboman's design is seemingly a fusion of the fan-submitted design from Seiji Tanaka of Miyagi and The Turboman, another fan-submitted design which was used as a background Perfect Chojin during the Dream Chojin Tag Arc.
