Delilah, we need to talk. I know you've kept reassuring me that what had happened wasn't due to anything you had done. Yet I feel as if we still need to talk about this, you had to have known this could happen to him. You had to have known that this was even a possibility. If you did, why didn't you tell anyone? Why didn't you tell me? Something like this doesn't just happen.
„
~ A note between the Gerdenview Center's founders, Arthur Walton to Delilah Keen, after an unknown incident, implied to be the creation of the Twisteds.
The Twisteds are the main antagonists of the Roblox mascot horror game, Dandy's World.
They are Toons which have had their bodies taken over by Ichor, making them turn monstrous and kill any other Toons who venture into the depths of the Gardenview Center.
The Twisteds function as the main enemies of the game. During a run of the game, players control friendly Toons that must extract ichor from machines scattered across the floors in the Gardenview Center, then return to the elevator that they boarded to keep descending further into the facility.
Most Twisteds will usually be wandering around the floor aimlessly unless they get distracted. Twisteds get distracted if they hear a failed skill check from an ichor machine or if they sense the presence of a Toon. They can also be alerted if a foghorn is used and will run toward the source to find its cause.
If they happen to stumble upon a Toon, they will try to attack them, using their abilities to do so. Almost every Twisted deals one heart of damage when they catch them, while some are capable of instantly killing them.
In the first few floors, Twisteds will not be as prevalent, with about two or three Twisteds wandering on floors with lower numbers. However, if there are more Toons in an elevator, the game's difficulty will increase, with there being more ichor machines to extract and more Twisteds to evade. There can be up to six Twisteds at most on a floor.
When all Ichor machines are extracted, all the Twisteds on the floor will enter a state known as "Panic Mode". While in this state, Twisteds will move faster, making escape more difficult.
Research capsules about the Twisteds can also be found scattered across the floors of the Gardenview Center, containing Ichor and Research. If enough is gathered, Toons will obtain trinkets, which will help them survive against the Twisteds.
Types of Twisteds[]
Common Twisteds[]
By far the most frequently encountered types of Twisteds in the game. These types of Twisteds spawn often, but a fair majority of them have no special abilities or traits.
Twisted Boxten: A purple music box Toon with a blue bandana and overalls. His head is open and two black arms are outside. Boxten is one of the most common Twisteds in the game, appearing frequently on different floors. Boxten does not have any unique traits or abilities that he can use to catch Toons.
Twisted Cosmo: A chocolate pastry Toon who had turned into a Twisted due to being isolated by his friends, most notably Sprout. He does not have any abilities, making him identical to Twisted Boxten and Poppy.
Twisted Looey: A balloon animal Toon who loved to entertain others. Twisted Looey acts similar to other common Twisteds, but has a higher-than-normal point of view.
Twisted Poppy: A blue bubble Toon with a pink bow and dress. Much like Twisted Boxten, Twisted Poppy is also common to find and lacks any abilities to hunt down any Toon not corrupted by ichor.
Twisted Shrimpo: An orange shrimp Toon whose bullying has become lethal. Although Shrimpo is sluggish in terms of speed, he makes it up with enhanced vision, allowing him to see Toons from a further distance, and will try to track them longer if he loses sight of them.
Twisted Tisha: A cyan tissue box Toon that likes to clean up the Gardenview Center. Twisted Tisha acts similar to Twisted Boxten and Poppy, but she will occasionally stop in place to sweep the floor, which can either be a relief or an obstacle depending on the scenario.
Twisted Yatta: A pink, yellow, and blue piñata Toon with party streamers for tails. Twisted Yatta acts similarly to other common Twisteds, but her running speed is faster.
Uncommon Twisteds[]
These types of Twisteds are bit rarer to encounter, each of them has special traits they can use to their advantage to catch Toons.
Twisted Brightney: A magenta lamp Toon who ran a book club. Her presence can easily be noted by the red light produced from her bulb. She also increases the chances of a blackout occurring on any floor she is on, using her intelligence to tamper with lights.
Twisted Connie: A blue ghost Twisted. Connie will not hurt any Toons when she is wandering the floor, but she will possess the ichor machines found on the floor and will attack any Toons that try to extract from the one she is currently possessing.
Twisted Finn: A fishbowl Toon that had his legs amputated and now crawls around the floors, looking for potential victims. Whenever a Toon finishes extracting ichor from a machine on a floor that this Twisted is on, they will be temporarily slowed down, putting them at risk of getting hurt by another Twisted. Luckily, he is also one of the slowest.
Twisted Razzle & Dazzle: A Toon duo of porcelain theatre masks. This Twisted will be sitting in one place on the floors it appears on. It will remain asleep and won't attack Toons during this state; however, if someone disturbs their sleep by running in the ribbon circle surrounding it. They will try to attack anyone within it. They're tied to a cinder block, likely showing their reluctance.
Twisted Rodger: A magnifying glass Toon that had worked as a detective. He disguises himself as a research capsule on the ground (the capsule he hides in does not have any film tape on it, which distinguishes it from other capsules). If a Toon attempts to pick it up, Rodger will emerge from it, greatly slowing down and confusing anyone nearby, and will take away the health of any Toon in his line of sight.
Twisted Teagan: A teacup Toon that had been overcome by her greed. If she attacks a Toon, she will also steal some tapes that the Toon has collected.
Twisted Toodles: A billiard ball Toon who is one of the youngest of the Toons. She will move significantly quicker than most other Twisteds if they happen to spot any Toon in sight, though she does not have a high attention span and can easily lose track of Toons if they hide away. She runs on all fours when chasing a Toon.
Rare Twisteds[]
As their title suggests, these types of Twisteds are even more rare to encounter, even more so than the uncommon Twisteds. The Twisteds of this group can be relatively dangerous if normal Toons aren't careful.
Twisted Flutter: A pink butterfly Toon. This Twisted roams floors at a relatively moderate speed, never slowing down or stopping.
Twisted Gigi: A red gachapon Toon. Similar to Goob and Scraps, she is a ranged Twisted, but if a Toon is spotted by her, she will take an item in numeral order instead of damaging them. She is also much faster than Goob and Scraps and has above-average speed, making escape harder.
Twisted Glisten: A golden mirror Toon whose egocentric personality overtook him. He appears to still have some semblance of his old self inside of him and desires attention in order to remain calm. He is at first docile but will get aggressive if he is left alone for too long or if all the ichor machines are completely extracted on the floor he is on.
Twisted Goob: A fluffy craft Toon and the brother to Scraps. If he spots a Toon, he will attempt to reach his arms out to them and pull them towards himself to deal damage.
Twisted Scraps: A paper craft Toon that resembles a cat. She is also the sister of Goob. Similar to Twisted Goob, she will reach her tail out to deal damage to any Toon she spots but will not bring them to her.
Main Character Twisteds[]
These Twisteds are exceptionally rare to encounter, only appearing after five floors have been completed during a run. These Twisteds have special abilities unique to themselves and are very dangerous. These Twisteds are also closely linked with Dandy's World and its branding, hence their status as main characters. These Twisteds will also have their own movement sounds to indicate they are on a floor.
Twisted Astro: A blue moon Toon, Astro's presence can be felt with a change in ambience when he is on a floor. Astro can remove some progress from an ichor machine if Toons mess up the skill checks. He will also make stamina regenerate slower if he catches any Toon in his sight.
Twisted Pebble: A rock Toon who is also Dandy's pet. He has been mutated into a very aggressive dog Twisted. He can easily see Toons from long distances and can chase them down with quick haste, faster than every other Twisted. Some Toons aren't even able to outrun him.
Twisted Shelly: A beige ammonite fossil Toon who had partially mutated into a dinosaur. Shelly's presence on a floor will confuse Toons, which will slow down how quickly they can extract ichor from the machines. She can also move very quickly if she finds a Toon.
Twisted Sprout: A strawberry Toon who was once a cook. If he notices a Toon in their vision, he can summon a tendril underneath in an attempt to deal damage to them.
Twisted Vee: A green television Toon who was once a game show host. Vee will make pop-up ads appear on the Toons' screens, blocking their vision. Vee can also track down any machine that a Toon has failed a skill-check on, regardless of where they are, and she can slow down the movement of a Toon she spots.
Lethal Twisteds[]
Twisteds of this rarity have unique spawning conditions. They can also instantly kill Toons if they attack them. Currently, Twisted Dandy is the only Lethal Toon.
Twisted Dandy: A flower with rainbow petals who is the face of Dandy's World and the one behind the Ichor Operation. If nobody buys anything from his store during a game session, Dandy will start to get angry and will have the chance to transform into his Twisted form the third time he receives no tapes. If an ichor machine is completed while Twisted Dandy is on the floor, he will head toward the machine. His presence is indicated by the off-tune sounds of his music box.
Event Twisteds[]
These types of Twisteds only appear during designated in-game events in Dandy's World.
Twisted Bobette: A Christmas ornament Toon who had gotten corrupted after her ability to make toys for everyone else made her envious. She is very fast and can sense items being picked up.
Twisted: Coal: A large rock Toon who is the pet of Bobette. She is usually sluggish, however, she becomes more dangerous during blackouts, with her speed reaching the equivalent to Twisted Pebble.
Twisted Ginger: A gingerbread cookie Toon. While she is slow, she is also very persistent in tracking down anyone she encounters.
Twisted Rudie: A reindeer Toon that loved to spread holiday cheer but now attacks others by charging into them with his antlers. This Twisted functions similarly to other Twisteds of the common rarity, spawning often on floors but having no abilities to help them catch Toons. His presence is indicated by the glow of his red nose.
Appearance[]
All Twisteds share many defining features. Most Twisteds have Ichor dripping from their body, blood-red eyes, and often sharp teeth. A Twisted's appearance varies depending on the Toon they originally were. Most resemble their normal selves, while some of the Main characters and Lethal Twisteds underwent drastic transformations to their bodies, becoming more monster-like.
Many of the Twisteds also show visible damage or wounds, such as Twisted Glisten, Toodles, and Gigi.
Personality[]
The Twisteds are bloodthirsty creatures. They try to kill any Toons whom they stumble upon. Some are also quite intelligent, with many of them, such as the Twisted Rodger, finding strategic ways to kill the Toons. Most Twisteds also seem to be mute (or prefer not to speak) due to the Ichor corruption. The only exception to their usual bloodthirsty personalities is Twisted Glisten, who wants the friendly Toons to stay with him and accompany him and will chase them if they are left alone for too long or if Panic Mode activates.
A common theme found within the Twisteds, emphasized among those of rarer varieties, is that becoming a Twisted seems to tie into a Toon's own mental state. While exceptions exist, a fair chunk of Twisteds take a Toon's worst thoughts and twists them into something far more malevolent, whether it be a need for recognition (Shelly and Glisten), envy (Bobette), guilt (Astro), loneliness (Sprout and Cosmo), or just their shortcomings in general (Teagan, and implied with Gigi and Shrimpo).

Trivia[]
Currently, Twisted Dandy is the only Lethal class Twisted in the game, though it is likely that there will be more Lethal Twisteds added to the game at a later date.
Twisted Glisten is currently the only Twisted that is able to talk.
Most Twisteds appear to reflect their Toon counterpart, matching their abilities or personalities.
The only Twisted that does not have a playable counterpart (for the public) is Twisted Dandy. He can only be played as by the game's developers.
Befitting their status as best friends, the Ichor found on Twisted Cosmo and Sprout compliment each other. On Twisted Sprout, the right side of his face and right arm are free from Ichor, which are the exact same places where Cosmo is infected.
After floor 15, rooms stylized after some of the Main Toons can be found, with the ones currently in the game being based on Astro and Shelly. These rooms increase the chance of the Toon they're based on appearing as a Twisted for that floor.
All Main Character Twisteds, alongside Dandy, have unique footstep sounds alongside other ambient noises, a feature that the rest of the Twisteds do not possess.
