The Two-Headed Troll is the main antagonist of the children's graphic novel Hilda and the Stone Forest and a supporting antagonist in the Netflix animated series Hilda.
Personality[]
The Two-Headed Troll is thoroughly quite ferocious and hostile especially towards other members of his own kind; he acts like a bully as Hilda described him. He also appears to heavy sleeper as he hardly anything wakes him expect for but a chirp from a single bird.
Appearance[]
While alike most other trolls, he has grey skin, an elongated nose and white blank eyes. Although as his name suggest, this particular troll possesses more than one head.
History[]
The Two-Headed Troll is first shown while among a bunch of other Trolls while they're all petrified from sunlight, nearby a farmer's house located right outside the walls of Trolberg by Hilda who had been accompanied with both head officer Erik Ahlberg and Deputy Gerda Gustav. They came to life again once after sunset, where he tried to catch Hilda and Ahlberg but fortunately, they escaped through a Vittra tunnel.
Also adapted from the original graphic novel series: when Hilda, Twig and Johanna got themselves lost in the Trolls’ mountains, the Two-Headed Troll attacked a bonfire that both Baba and her mom, Trylla had attended. Where he staled supplies that Baba’s mom brought out unaware alongside Twig too, who fell behind after Hilda and Johanna flee for Trolberg. Johanna followed the Two-Headed Troll to his lair filled with numerous stuff however, he soon blocked and had fallen asleep near the entrance. After when he awoke and was about to attack Johanna, thankfully though Hilda used a rock-chewing slug to break through a lock of a trapdoor causing all the items to plummet below from the Troll’s lair which made him quite furious. The Two-Headed began hunting down Hilda and Johanna, who were given shelter by Baba and her own mother.
During the next day, while pursuing a guide that Baba’s mom provided for Hilda, Twig and her mother to lead them back to Trolberg, they soon ran into the Two-Headed Troll again as he grabbed them both but with help from Twig and a few Trolls, they managed to get away where the Troll had chased them all the way outside without even realizing that it was still daytime thus he converted to stone. Once petrified, he formed like a boulder which caused a landslide where Hilda and Johanna are soon rescued by the Great Raven or (as depicted in the animated series) by Frida, David and Deputy Gerda plus a white woff. Meanwhile, the Two-Headed Troll had rapidly rolled down from the mountain and came to a stop just at the giant wall surrounding Trolberg. It is unknown what of him afterward as he's never seen again.
