Tyrant is a minor antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
Biography[]
Tyrant was a powerful Brutal Chojin who lived on Planet Cupim and would conquer and rule it with an iron fist, killing thousands upon thousands who stood before him until he was defeated by an ancient member of the Kinniku Clan and was imprisoned for millions of years.
After millions of years later, Tyrant would break free and resume his conquest, now fueled by his desire for revenge against the planet that he was imprisoned by. One of the inhabitants of Planet Cupim, Barrack, would escape and search for the Kinniku Clan but would be captured shortly after finding Kinnikuman's house and stealing his mask.
Barrack would be thrown into the dungeon alongside all other able-bodied people to be used as slaves until Barrack escaped and donned Kinnikuman's mask to fight him. Tyrant would easily defeat Barrack, instantly being able to tell that it wasn't a member of the Kinniku Clan, and was about to kill him but suddenly Kinnikuman would appear, following his senses back to his mask.
Tyrant would battle against Kinnikuman to avenge his loss millions of years ago but was easily beaten by Kinnikuman. Tyrant's fate is unknown, whether he was killed by Kinnikuman's Kinniku Buster or imprisoned again is never made clear.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, Tyrant has superhuman strength, speed and durability. Other abilities that Chojin have that Tyrant likely has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
Trivia[]
- Based on the design of the statues of the Kinniku Clan member who beat Tyrant, it is likely that Tyrant was defeated by Silverman.
