Tyriant

Tyriant is a minor antagonist in Dragon Quest XI.

He was voiced by Norio Wakamoto in the Japanese version, and by Timothy Watson in the English version.

Biography[]

After the fall of the Yggdrasil, Tyriant is given the purple orb by Mordegon. He take residents in the ruined Helidor Castle. After Jasper taunted Hendrik, he ordered the crazy skeleton to finish the party off. Tyriant than appeared behind the throne and told them that the age of darkness will be forever and light will never returns as long as he lived. He than attacks the party. However, he is no match for them and is defeated. Tyriant than begged darkness not to leave him as he exploded in purple mist.

Appearance[]

Tyriant is a purple skeleton who wields two swords. He wears a broken helmet, a purple cape and a full set of armor.

Personality[]

Tyriant is psychotically insane as he often laughs uncontrollably , even during his death. He also has an obsession towards darkness. However, he still respect his opponent as he bows to them before battle.
