Tyson is one of the main antagonists in Pokémon: Master Quest. He serves as one of the primary antagonists of the episodes " Talkin' 'Bout an Evolution" and " Rage of Innocence". He is a high-ranking agent of Team Rocket working together with an army of grunts for his evil plans.
He was voiced by Yoshinori Sonobe in Japanese and Dan Green in English.
Biography[]
He was one of the main team leaders in Project R, an experiment to induce evolution led by Professor Sebastian. The evolution induction machine weakened the health of surrounding Pokémon and forced a Magikarp to evolve into a shiny red Gyarados. While Tyson and the grunts that were with him were trying to capture the shiny Gyarados, he attacked Ash and his friends who were trying to interfere with and investigate Team Rocket's plans. Lance was disguised as a Team Rocket Grunt so that he can further investigate their plans and find solutions to combat Project R, like complaining to Officer Jenny. Jessie, James and Meowth also assisted Tyson in capturing the shiny Gyarados. While Ash and his friends tried to stop Team Rocket from doing this, they were imprisoned in the Team Rocket laboratory surrounding the Lake of Rage.
In Rage of Innocence, while Tyson, Professor Sebastian and the rest of the Team Rocket Grunts successfully captured the shiny Gyarados, it woke up and was heavily shaking out of the capture net, and Lance used his Dragonite to destroy the laboratory and defeat the two Fearow that Tyson sent out to attack the heroes. As Officer Jenny saw what was going on, Tyson, Professor Sebastian, and the rest of the Team Rocket Grunts were arrested for what they have done.
