Tyson Dense is a minor antagonist in Sonic the Comic comic book series. He is an inventor bat who took part in an exhibition for environment-friendly inventions, despite presenting a device that would harm the environment, and took his loss very personally.

Tyson Dense took part in the Enviro-Fete '98 exhibition, which was meant to raise awareness for preservation of environment. Despite this, he presented to the judges a tree-chopping machine, which would've done the exact opposite. When Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary won the first prize with their Solar-Powered Hover Scooter, Tyson grew mad and chased after the Freedom Fighters on his tree-chopping machine. Amy Rose defeated him by shooting his machine's weak spot, dumping Tyson into a bath filled with mouldy water.
Sonic the Comic Online![]
In the "unofficially official" continuation of the Fleetway comic, Tyson Dense joined the League of Super-Evil Villains alongside many other villains deemed incompetent. The group's first operation involved robbing a bank in Metropolis, which failed and resulted in the League's members getting arrested.
Tyson returned in the League's second iteration, and discussed the group's plans against S.P.E.A.R., but whatever he is up to now that Grand Chief Whip, Doctor Genius and Windy Wallis are arrested while Bob the Plax has defected is unknown.
