U-3, also known as It is an antagonist in Resident Evil 4 and its remake. An unholy chimeric abomination, it was created by Saddler on his private island but was kept locked away. During Leon's attack on the island to rescue Ashley, Saddler unleashes it to ambush him in the underground caverns, during which he successfully kills it.

U-3 was the result of Saddler possibly going to further extremes with the research of the Novistadores and the Plagas, the result being an extremely mutated monster that is equal parts Plaga, human and reptile. Likely considered a failure, due to its nickname of simply being "It", the monstrosity was kept locked away and only used in the dire circumstance of Leon making his way through the island. U-3 was able to take an incredible amount of punishment as well as unleash devastating attacks with its mutated form, able to break adult's bones with ease and its Plaga jaws able to bite its victims in half. It was also capable of impressive stealth despite its size, ambushing Leon several times without being seen. As it was already in the final stage of a Plaga's bonding with its host, even when the creature itself was dead the parasite was still able to reanimate the corpse and use it to continue attacking, only finally meeting its end once the Plaga was destroyed.

- U-3's role in the Remake was dramatically changed, now being the final form of the black robed Verdugo and the direct result of the red robed Verdugo's experiments.
