Uco is a major antagonist of The Raid 2. He is a sociopathic mobster and the impatient heir to his father Bangun, the gangland boss of Jakarta. Over the course of events, Uco's desire to oust his father's mob rival Goto leads him to joining forces with their enemy Bejo in order to gain more power for himself - only to end up turning against his father and the film's protagonist Rama as the scenario goes on.
About
Uco was the son of a powerful gangster who had a strained relationship with his father Bangan for many years and a violent playboy who beat women which put him in jail. In prison, Uco met a young man named Yuda at cafeteria when the men whom Yuda beaten which left Uco imprisoned and asked him to join the gang but Yuda rudely refused however Uco's enemies led by Bemi sent them to killed Uco at prison yard which resulted in a riot between Polices and prisoners before Yuda saved Uco by beating up Bemi and his gang for good. 2 years later Uco and his cellmate when his father and his henchman Eka welcome him. However Uco become jealous on Yuda's relationship with his father who threatened him as own and Uco along with Yuda and Eka meet Topan who is pornographer filmmaker Uco is there to pick up collection money, Topan hands but Uco expanded to him that money is protection for his porn activities and other crimes before Yuda manged defeated Topan's henchman and A gun battle ensues between two gangs resulted deaths of Topan's gang and two members who worked with Uco. Bangun is impressed and praised on Yuda how handled fight and Uco who ask his father why he is like father figure or sympathetic to Yuda. at karaoke bar when two hostess were singing for them as Yuda refused to drinking, Uco beat one of hostess after she yelled him for defend her friend when Uco insult him Rama tries to defuse the situation by offering to sing a song but Uco continued assault the girl and another press the button for alarm to henchmen who asking him for what going on.
Uco had other plans - to ousted his father as crime boss and make yazuka and his gang as enemies and meeting with Bejo at the restaurant who gave his present - splice to kill 5 men but unknown to them that Rama put wire on him for demeaned his brother's death.
Trivia
- Uco was assumed as the hidden main antagonist due to the fact that he is the key character throughout the film, but this was not true. And although Bejo had bigger plans than anyone else in the film, both he and Uco are outranked by the film's true main villain.
