Ugraum Grableg is the main protagonist from Fantasy Wars Orc campaign, a minor protagonist from Fantasy Wars: Elven Legacy and Fantasy Wars: Elven Legacy: Magic and a major antagonist in Fantasy Wars, Elven Legacy: Siege. He was a very tall and muscular orc war leader, the supreme leader of the combined and united hordes of the Wastes, and the main leaders of the invasion against the kingdoms of humans.

Personality[]

Ash-hoon What have you done? I told you I need this power! I could have removed the barrier in a few days and we could have taken the artifact.
Ugraum: I’ ve got no time to wait. Remember, I will destroy everything that stands between me and my goal, whatever magic or power it may be!

Ugraum: I’ve told you hexer. I don’t need any power, except for mine own. I will never bend before anyone. I will rule!

Ugraum, the iron-fisted, sole chief of the Horde.

Ugraum was a very harsh, impatient, wild, willful, domineering, bloodthirsty, battle-hungry person. All he wanted was for the orcs to rule over everyone and everything, for the horde to get everything they could, and for their enemies to be destroyed, looted or subjugated. He was quite contemptuous, condescending, prejudiced and scornful towards humans and goblins, but sometimes hexers as well. As the events unfolded, it is revealed that he valued and loved honesty and loyalty, and quite hated conspiracy, betrayal and scheming behind his back. He had a rather selfish and skeptical mindset, he didn't really believe in spirits or spiritual things, only in power, his own strength and the successes he achieved, for which magic, artifacts or spirits are only tools and help, but not the elements of real power. Moreover, he was not completely ruthless and misanthropic, he rarely spared human lives, but only so that his campaign would continue successfully and the wealth and glory of the horde would increase.

After the failed siege of Sylent and the disintegration of the Horde, Ugraum began to change. He made more and more alliances with other creatures or monsters, as he saw that with the power of the horde alone, the possibilities for world domination were no longer the same as in the heyday of his campaigns. But the real change came during the siege of Tersia, because he realized that this was the end for his plans, because if he continued his usual war behavior, he would probably be defeated and die, since he probably refused to hide. He accepted that his opportunities for world domination were finally exhausted and he had to stop and make peace, but at the same time he did not repent or regret for his crimes and evil actions, so he did not find redemption, but he did find a new home and peace and proved to the humans that he had honor in him , as he did not break his word.

Biography[]

Even at a young age, Ugraum was much bigger and stronger than the other orcs, but at the same time he was dissatisfied with the fact that the clans were killing each other and there was no unity. He truly believed that the orcs and the goblins together represented a force that could even conquer the world, but at first he also had to participate in internal battles, until he was addressed by an old hexer. The old orc said things similar to what he thought, for example, that while the orcs were fighting each other and couldn't get stronger, the humans were gaining more and more space and getting stronger. Then Ugraum gave a loud roar to his horde and decided he had had enough and created a unified and mighty army to begin his conquests.

UgraumWorldDominationPlanBegining

Ugraum decides to unite the hordes of the Verk Wastes and conquer the world.

The orc chief saw that the time had come to give the orcs a great war in which they would win over the humans and conquer much, but for this a large and united army was needed. First, he wanted to unite the goblins, some of whom had joined him in the beginning, and some who had not. He decided to capture the goblins' main village, Ashnar, and force their hexer to go over to his side. Ugraum set out from his village, Durzul, with his horde and soon encountered the goblins, who were not very strong opponents, but he noticed that the road led to some withered trees. Here, after chasing away the goblins, he found their not-so-well-hidden gold stock, and then occupied one of their villages, Azgor, and after this, the goblin archers there joined him. He then went towards Ashnar with all his forces, but the village was also protected by orcs allied with the goblins, so the fight here was more serious and claimed more victims, but in the end Ugraum defeated his opponents with his brutal and aggressive fighting style and captured the village. The hexer, Sho-doon, was already waiting for him in the village, who immediately obeyed his word and offered his services, and even had a gift for him, which he left in a stone circle not far Azgor northen area. It was an artifact that was guarded by spectral wolves, but it was not a goblin hexer's trap, as he himself fought against it, but in the end, the orc leader destroyed these phantoms. The artifact was the Mummy's Eye, and once it was obtained, Ugraum declared victory and saw the time had come for his increased horde to move on and finally begin the war against the humans.

The first big attack of the orcs and goblins was directed against the village of Vainen and the fortress of Noinstein in the northern area of the Wastes, not far from the coast. Before leaving, Ugraum encouraged his warriors that this day would be a day of blood and now they could show the weak people how well they can kill and destroy. Then, shortly after the horde was prepared, they set out from the village of Ghoshzar to conquer the first obstacle, the fort Streidorf, but the humans soon spotted the enemy preparing to attack. Ugraum then ordered his army to speed up the attack so that the people could not hide their treasures. The fortress soon fell, and Sho-doon and his goblins found the treasures, which he handed over to his leader. The orc leader said that this was just the beginning and to continue the attack. The horde pushed forward practically unstoppable, the humans unable to stop the enemy, which was constantly killing and destroying anything. Sho-doon and his goblins attacked the two villages of Vainen, killed all the defenders, who were peasants, and almost completely looted everything, then gave the stolen treasures to Ugraum. Next came the village of Niendorf, which was already defended by archers, but they had no chance and this place also fell. To the west of Vainen was the village of Radegast, which they also easily captured and looted, and then they pushed further east towards the town of Noistenin. The village before the town, Hammoor, was already better protected by the humans, and a group of peasants wanted to flee the area to call for feudal knights who might be able to defeat the horde. However, this did not happen, as a small group of orcs crossed the river protecting the city and bypassed the enemy, then they killed the peasants. Ugraum then launched the attack and captured not only Haamoor, but also the other village to the north, Hatdorf. Noistenin was surrounded and the defenders fought as long as they could, but eventually the horde broke into the town and killed everyone they could and plundered the place. This was Ugraum's first victory over the enemey and although the human losses were not great, many were killed and quite a lot of treasure was stolen by the horde.

After his first victory against the humans, Ugraum saw that he would need a larger army for greater goals and conquests, because the horde was not yet fully unified, as the orc berzerkers, goblin and orc hyena riders, and trolls lived in separate clans in the southern area of the Wastes. The orc leader and Sho-doon set out with their troops to completely unite the horde and begin the real great conquest. The orc leader ordered the goblin hexer to send scouts to find out where the enemy was. Sho-doon quickly received the reports. The berzerkers' fortress, Shagra, was nearby, east of them, the horsemen were in the camp of Ograt and were preparing to attack a human camp north of them, but the scouts found no trolls. After the goblin punished his scouts for the incomplete report, the horde attacked from two directions. Ugraum attacked the berzerkers, while Sho-doon headed for the riders. The berkezkers immediately launched a counterattack against the invading enemy, but they failed, and the orc warleader then fought their leader, Besargar, in front of the fortress of Shagra. Like Ugraum, he was a very large and strong orc, but eventually lost the fight, but his opponent did not kill him, but offered him to join him, which he accepted. However, not all of his warriors accepted the decision and tried to kill the treacherous leader, but they did not succeed and they all died. He and his new allies then continued towards the capital of the orcish rider, while Sho-doon found a damaged goblin zeppelina airship, which they successfully repaired with the help of a captured human. The goblins then destroyed a camp where there were humans, then helped the hyena riders fight against the trolls and freed their village, in return they joined the horde.

UgraumkillRiderChief

Ugraum after he killed in a duel the Rider Chief of Ograt.

Meanwhile, Ugraum clashed with the riders, killed their leader and captured their capital, Ograt, and then an unexpected guest came to him. An elderly orc shaman with a drum and staff who killed a goblin prisoner in front of them with just his gaze. He was Ash-hoon, the first hexer, who offered to join him and help the achive his goals, which the orc chief accepted. After that, only the trolls were left, whose leader was a huge, armored troll, and at the cost of heavy losses, he was defeated. He told the orc chief that he was being held captive by the humans and that was why he was so angry and asked him not to destroy his tribe. Ugraum was not interested in this at all and killed the troll leader for the serious loses, thus taking over the control of the trolls as well. The horde is now effectively united and has gathered enough warriors to launch the invasion and world domination.

The orcs and goblins increased the number of armored units and tried to redeploy as many forces as possible to the first serious target, which was none other than Irand castle. However, the orc hexer told Ugraum that he had better hurry, because not far from Neunstein a large army of humans had landed and they had an experienced leader who had almost completely destroyed the clan of Snake. The orc warchief, on the other hand, believed that his enemy would not escape, as they trusted too much in the strong walls of their castle, but he was determined that the horde would not be stopped. The attack was fast moving at first, the orcs started from the village of Nilgazar and captured the village of Salzbach, then pushed further forward. The target was the village of Liecourt, however, the humans launched a counterattack with large and serious forces, so the orcs' usual, quick attack was stalled. The enemy's forces were diverse, organized and strong, so a long and cruel battle unfolded. The humans had good success at first, even killing a few of the trolls, and the orcs and goblins were a bit unsure of their success, however the new armored orc warriors proved to be a great weapon and successfully fought the knights. In the forests, the goblins were able to make good ambushes, while the combined attacks of the berzerkers, armored orc warriors and trolls gradually forced the humans to retreat, their troops increasingly depleted. Finally, the horde launched a united attack and broke through the enemy's lines and killed many humans and some retreated to Irand castle.

However, the orcs did not start the siege yet, as the villages around the castle offered good supplies and looting opportunities, so they first launched an attack against the surrounding lands. The locals could not expect much help, as the retreating soldiers did not want to break out of the castle again, and Ugraum and his warriors also destroyed the knights' camp, which was not far from the northern part of the forest. Liecourt and Waldsteit were the first villages the orcs took with ease as the defenders all retreated to the castle, after which one half of the horde headed east while the other camped before the castle. First, they attacked a small village, Tonndorf, which its inhabitants tried to defend, but in the end the orcs won, and after that they discovered a path between the mountains, which they used to reach the lands behind Irand Castle. The invaders conquered the Hilsbach and Stein mills, the villages of Melbek and Oldentorf, then the suburbs of Hemsber and the town itself. After that, the looting horde captured the suburbs of Irand and thus the castle was completely surrounded by the orcs, who started the siege from all directions. The siege stalled at first, but eventually the defenders couldn't take it any longer and the orcs broke through the walls, entered the castle, killed everyone and looted the castle. The conquest of Irand was a great victory for the horde, as the humans lost important forces and many resources and land fell into the hands of the Orcs. However, Ugraum was not completely satisfied, as As-Hoon started talking to some orcs behind his back, as if he was hiding something from the warchief. At the same time, he thought it was more important to focus on the campaign, so he did not bother with this matter for now.

The horde held a great feast after the capture of Irand, and Ugraum believed his warriors deserved it after the hard fight, but after that he prepared his next move, which was even more serious than before. He wanted to capture the enemy's capital, Freiburg, and kill their leader, King Victor, but this was a much more difficult task than the previous ones. The capital and its territory were guarded by well-trained, strong and many knights, and Victor was an experienced, very strong and dangerous warrior who had already fought against orcs and goblins on several occasions. Sho-doon also doubted this plan, as another leader of the enemy, Derrick, was already on their trail, but Ugraum ordered the goblin not to think for him. Derrick and his army were still far from the capital and the warlord believed that they had enough time for the conquest to be successful, then he ordered the goblin hexer to have his scouts search the territory and find the leader of Derenhalle, where he was hiding. As-Hoon encouraged Ugraum that the entire nation was on his side, but the orc leader suspected that the old hexer was hiding something from him, but he had no time for that right now, he had to focus on his campaign. The warriors of the horde attacked from two directions, a small group from the village of Shugda started towards the capital, while from the village of Urakh, Ugraum marched with his army to conquer the Seelberg fortress. As-hoon indicated to the orc leader that there is a holy house not far from them, where there is a so-called reliquia that has great power and that the hexers must acquire it, but the orc chief stipulated that this power is not for them, but will serve the horde. They then reached the holy place which was the temple of the Marcus Blood, but the warriors of the horde could not enter as there was a mage protection on the building which destroyed those around it.

Ugraumburntemple

Ugraum orders Sho-doon and his goblins to burn down the Temple of Marcus' Blood.

Sho-doon worriedly asked his chief what to do, who ordered the building to be set on fire, after which goblin archers shot fiery arrows at the temple, which burned down. As-hoon was a little upset because he could have destroyed the magical barrier in a few days and probably the fire destroyed the artifact , but Ugraum told him that he didn't care because he would destroy anyone and anything in his way, be it magic or power. He then went on with his army and after capturing the villages of Jagerheim and Wittenhorste the horde clashed with King Victor and his army. A rather serious and bloody fight ensued and initially neither side could advance until Ugraum defeated Victor in battle, without whom his army was less effective. After that, the horde gradually advanced and finally destroyed the army and captured the fortress of Seelberg. The horde continued towards the capital and conquered the town of Krotburg and the village of Habke, but the resistance here was not too great. Meanwhile, the smaller group captured the village of Wenlend and took up a defensive position, their goal was to provoke the defense forces of the capital to a counterattack in order to reduce the number of soldiers in the castle. The group then united with the horde and began the siege, while other areas of the capital were also attacked. They captured the castle of Orttung and the villages of Estzum and Merhoste, then plundered an old church, and then all warriors took part in the attack on the capital. Victor left behind a strong defense and the humans held out until the end, but eventually a gap opened which the attackers were able to exploit and enter the castle. Ugraum ordered them to destroy what they could and kill everyone, and the warriors of the horde obeyed his orders and knew no mercy. Freiburg was eventually completely conquered, and the orc chief marched north with his army, leaving behind a strong garrison to prevent Derrick Pfeil from pursuing him

After his great and decisive victory, Ugraum's attention and anger turned northward to the kingdom of Leranse, famous for its large, powerful, and magnificent army, and ruled by the notoriously proud and power-hungry King Stephan. A small army of the horde remained in Freiburg to stop Derrick, while the orc leader decided that his new target would be the glorious kingdom of the knights and therefore set out with his army. Three roads led in the direction of the capital, Verson, but all three were guarded by a fortress, these were Shatte, Trevy and Sent-Rono. The horde marched from the village of Bargash and first captured a mountain village, Nagloor and then attacked a merchant’s camp, the resistance of the humans was weak, so the orc leader and his warriors moved on. However, Leranse immediately launched a counterattack as the horde warriors reached an open area, their army consisted of mercenaries, eagles, and many knights, including the famous Marcus knights, as well as mages fighting against the invaders. A great battle began, the front line stiffened as neither side could overpower the other, but gradually the horde gained the upper hand, but the battle was also decided by Ugraum and Besargar killing many knights. After that, the army became more and more broken and finally the invaders defeated the humans and later on they faced much less resistance. First, the fortress of Sent-Rono and the village of Rannary fell, whose defenses were adequate, but they could not withstand the great attack of orcs, goblins and trolls. The fortress of Shatte was defended by foot knights, who were good fighters, but did not stand much of a chance on their own against the overwhelming enemy. The last stand was the fortress of Trevy, but before that Ugraum had captured two merchant camps, one of which belonged to the rich, and two villages, Shalirye and Travelle. The siege of the fortress was slow at first, but in the end the horde won here too and it was a big victory for Ugraum. Leranse suffered great losses, the most important of which were the experienced and well-organized knights, who could not really be replaced. However, the orc leader noticed that As-hoon was talking to someone and calling that person or something master. He immediately wanted to know the truth about who he was talking to, but the hexer said that he didn't talk to anyone. The orc leader was still more focused on his campaign, but now his patience was running out.

The horde continued to advance northeast to reach Verson, but the defeated Leranse wanted revenge and wanted to mount an even bigger counterattack, with Derrick advancing as well. Ugraum agreed to Ash-hoon's advice and gave him some orcs who became his apprentices and could become hexers, but that wasn't the main problem. The humans used a remarkable number of eagles, and the orc chief saw that he could not win with just only archers, so he needed other allies, and these were the pteranodon riders, which were goblins riding dark, dragon-like creatures. Sho-doon received a report from his spies and confirmed that the news was true, that Leranse was preparing to attack and that they had many eagles. Then the orc leader came up with an idea, namely to send a signal from a cqptured castle in a suitable place to the pteranodon riders, who can fly there much more if they see the target, so they can repulse the attack of the eagles. However, Leranse didn't just want to succeed with the birds, now he actually took the threat seriously and deployed his most elite knights, including the paladins and the champions of Marcus. The orcs launched an attack from two directions, from the villages of Erweeg and Nazgar, to which the knights responded with a counterattack, but the guerrilla attacks of the goblins and the combined forces of the battle orcs and orcish riders stopped them and defeated the enemy. The horde attacked the villages of Anlem and Kletyn, which the humans tried to defend and already deployed some of the eagles, but together the pteranodon riders and the hexers killed the birds without a problem, while the horde overcame the defenders and captured the two villages. After that, Ugraum continued to push forward, while a smaller group conquered the destroyed castle of Emmari, crossed the river and were able to distract the defense from another direction with their attack. The orc chief’s target was the De'Vandor' castle, but a serious and bloody battle ensued here, as the forces of Leranse wanted to stop the invasion here and therefore deployed everything they could, mainly knights and siege engines. In the battle, the horde could only advance slowly, but in the end the fight was decided by the fact that the small group that pushed forward from the side captured the village of Avren, and then attacked the army of humans from the side. After that, Ugraum launched another attack and together with his minions captured the castle and the nearby village of Berrien. His warriors gave the signal to the pteranodon riders as the humans launched the long awaited counterattack with many knights and eagles. The forces of the horde managed to cause losses, but they did not back down and attacked the castle and its territory at all costs, but the attack stalled. Finally, as planned by Ugraum, the pteranodon riders arrived in large numbers and with them the orcs launched a counterattack against the exhausted humans and eagles. The horde advanced unstoppably, birds and soldiers fell one after the other, they captured the villages of Siylin and Tawall, and laid siege to the last castle, Arien. The defenders did not surrender, but in the end they were all killed and the invaders captured the castle and its suburbs. Ugraum's plan resulted in a great and important victory, as this defeat also exhausted the reserves of Leranse, and now only the king's army was the only effective force in the kingdom. However, along with his victory, he also received bad news, as a goblin sneaker arrived and told him that Derrick Pfeil had defeated Rag-zoon's army, that many orcs had been killed, that he had a very strong army, and that hexers using magic were also fighting on his side. Ugraum was angry with As-hoon because his apprentice had failed, even though he had time and power to prepare, and after that he took the power of the hexers less and less seriously and that's when he realized that the horde had to hurry because Derrick was heading in the direction of Verson and if his army united With Stefan's army, the invasion may not be able to proceed any further.

However, something unexpected happened in winter. King Stefan did not wait for Derrick because he was tired of the great defeats, so he decided to go with his own army to personally kill Ugraum and defeat the horde. His generals did not agree with the king and thought this was a reckless move, but they did not dare to oppose him, but followed him, while the leader of the horde saw the opportunity to trap his arrogant and proud opponent. He ordered As-hoon and the other hexers to summon illusions and lure the king to an empty, mountainous place where they could attack and kill him. The first hexer liked the idea and supported his leader, but Sho-doon brought bad news, as the humans had killed the guard goblins and already knew that the enemy was on their land, so the orc leader ordered an immediate attack, so that in time kill the scouts or the goblin hexer must fight the knights in the front lines. The horde marched from the village of Bargash and after crossing a bridge they reached the village of Montequ and the town of Nuoren, and the humans tried to stop the enemy, but they could not put up much resistance, even with the help of mounted scouts. After the successful conquest, they moved on and captured the village of Ginyan and killed all the scouts, but then Stefan began his march with his large army, and Ugraum ordered the hexers to summon the illusions. The king's pride and arrogance were greater and they managed to deceive him with the illusions, he alone galloped in the direction of Ugraum with his best generals and knights and walked into the trap.

UgraumkillKingStefan

Ugraum kill king Stephan in their duel.

When they reached the mountains, the real Ugraum appeared with his goblin and orc warriors and attacked the enemy, and the mighty orc fought against the king in a duel. In the end, Stefan died, his generals and knights fought to the end and did not run away, but everyone was killed by the greenskins and everything was ready to launch the big attack. The king’s army did not retreat, but took up the battle with the enemy, but without proper leadership or strategy, their chances of victory were reduced. In exchange for their help, As-hoon wanted them to retrieve an artifact from a nearby dark altar guarded by a renegade mage and his minions. While they went to get the artifact, the horde led by Ugraum began the attack from the village of Ginyan and then a great and bloody battle began between the last strong army of Leranse and the greenskins. The fighting lasted a long time, neither side was able to advance and the losses on both sides were getting bigger and bigger. Here Ugraum and Besargar also killed many knights personally, but even they could not lead an advance because the enemy launched their counterattacks without stopping. The battle was finally decided by two things, on the one hand, As-hoon, Sho-doon and the hexers also joined the fight, and also a smaller group of mainly orcs crossed the mountain next to the horde where Stefan died and at the cost of some serious fighting, they captured the village of Tabri and from here they flanked the army of humans. The remaining soldiers of Leranse were exhausted and their molars were broken by the attack from multiple directions and they began to retreat or flee, and Ugraum saw the opportunity that the small group of orcs afforded him and immediately ordered an all-out assault. The horde advanced rapidly and killed the enemy's soldiers, knights or eagles one after the other, finally capturing the town of Le-Arson and practically completely destroying the enemy's army. After that, the greenskins started looting the remaining parts of the area and the level of resistance has now greatly decreased. They captured the villages of Reteyri and Trecone, then went on and besieged the castle of Arledone, which was the last effective line of defense separating the invaders from the lands of the capital. The castle was defended by foot knights who held out for a while, but finally the overwhelming force of the horde broke them and they all died, and the village next to the castle, Arville, also fell. Ugraum achieved perhaps his biggest victory so far, because he defeated one of the strongest armies in the known world several times, killed the leader of a very powerful kingdom, and Leranse was on the verge of complete destruction. He wasn't completely satisfied though, because As-hoon started giving orders behind his back again, but he felt he had waited enough now and wanted to know what orders he was giving to other orcs without he know that. However, the hexer diverted the subject by telling him not to question a hexer because spirits speak through him whose words even the orc chief cannot understand, but he did not really believe in such things and was not afraid of spirits and not from the hexers either, but he was annoyed that As-hoon wouldn't tell him something. He decided to focus on his campaign, but he was about to show the first hexer where he belonged and who the boss really was. The moment he had been waiting for had arrived, namely the siege of the capital, Verson. Panic broke out among the people of Leranse, as there was no force capable of striking, the king was dead and the enemy's huge army was not far from the capital to loot everything they could and kill everyone. However, Ugraum received bad news because while he was preparing for the siege, his main opponent, Derrick Pfeil, arrived earlier in the capital with his companions and his army and they prepared for the siege. However, the orc leader had this in mind, as after his last great victory, he sent a message to almost every goblin, orc, and troll tribe, instructing them to come and attack Verson with his horde. The wild and aggressive tribes quickly advanced and met almost no resistance, they captured the territories of the capital, and the trolls stopped on the way, thus preventing the possibility of escape, so the capital was completely surrounded. Derrick and his companions saw only one option, namely that they had to defend and attack at the same time, so their army was divided into a separate defensive and separate attacking part. Derrick and his companions attacked and killed the trolls and the goblins who attacked with them, then they reached the Church of All Saints, and killed a goblin hexer and his minions there. After that, they returned to the capital and joined the other half of the attacking army, which fought hard against the orcish riders, battle prcs, and pteranodon riders. The army of the attackers was led by a berzerker chief from the castle of Deniere, while they also launched an attack with siege engines from the castle of Le Laffeld, but the humans together gradually weakened the attackers, who after a while became unconvinced and retreated. Derrick and his companions did not stop there, but successfully reached the siege machines, which they destroyed and killed the berzerker chief, and liberated most of the area. However, the humans were completely exhausted from the attack and that's when Ugraum arrived with his horde, against whom they were no longer able to fight, so Derrick thought it better to leave the city together with the civilians. They were replaced by knights from the Church who were determined and skilled warriors who persevered to the end and had siege weapons. Ugramun was not angry that his advance troops had failed, for he felt that in doing so he would personally give the horde the greatest reward and that this would be the glorious battle of their ascension. Derrick and his army, along with the civilians, left the city and headed towards Sylent as the horde launched the massive attack. The horde attacked from three directions, from the villages of Lerden and Meiran, as well as from the town of Tanderte, but the progress was slow, partly because of the enemy's resistance and partly because the greenskins were already thoroughly familiar with the tactics and raids of the humans, especially the rangers. The greenskins attacking from Lerden were met with fierce resistance at the village of Meirri, where the foot knights launched a counterattack and used many ballistae, and the army attacking from Tanderte was attacked by paladins. But the army that marched from Meiran advanced quickly, the attacks of the elite rangers were repelled by the goblin stalkers and the hexers, and after killing their enemies they were able to help the other armies as well. With their help, the defenses of Meiri were broken through, and the attack of the paladins failed, so the horde could continue to advance from all directions. The paladins launched several counterattacks but were unable to break through the lines of the attackers, who killed them one after another and conquered the territories. They captured the villages of Clerten and Esvarron, as well as the castles of Esvarri and Le Laffeld, but the attack then stalled again. At the castles of Le Buerell and Le Venlo, the greenskins encountered very tough resistance, the defenders held out to the end and the paladins launched a counterattack again. Here, the horde was only able to achieve success at the cost of heavy and bloody losses. After the two castles, the villages of Denier and Ventien were captured and the horde finally reached the capital. The huge capital was defended only by the town of Villenar, apart from the knights of the Church, among whom even the Priests of the Sword fought, who were both very skilled in swordsmanship and in the use of magical abilities. Then the huge and bloody siege began, in which the horde could only slowly advance, the defenders fought with all their determination and heroism as long as they could, but finally the greenskins managed to break through. After the capturing of Villenar, the invaders attacked from almost all directions and finally completely surrounded the defenders, who did not surrender, but the horde knew no mercy and killed everyone they could. They also conquered and looted the village of Buason, not far from the capital, and the All Saints church. Ugraum won a total victory over the kingdom of Leranse, which had practically ceased to exist, and Verson became his. However, the great orc chief decided that plundering the city could come to him later, since he still had only one target, namely the neighboring free city of Sylent, since Derrick had retreated here and believed that if he defeated his main enemy here and captured this city as well, then the horde and he will become unstoppable for good and have a real chance to rule the world.

UgrammarchSylentHexersnomore

Ugraum orders the horde to march to attack the city of Sylent and withdraws his trust from the hexers.

However, As-hoon tried to manipulate him so that they stay in the city and this is the order of the spirits, and whoever opposes them will die, but that's when Ugraum's patience finally ran out and he announced that he was not afraid of the spirits and hit the first hexer who fell to the ground. He then gave the order that the horde would go to Sylent and withdrew his trust from the hexers. Sho-doon's trust in his leader was then very shaken and he decided not to stick with him, but betrayed him and sided with As-hoon, who was also secretly heading towards Sylent with an army of traitors. Ugraum reached the city of Sylent earlier than Derrick and even though the hexers were no longer with him and many deserted him because of his decision, he still commanded a huge army. The horde marched through the forests, burning some of them to prevent the enemy from raiding. They first attacked the eastern areas of the city, where they encountered very little resistance. The horde initially advanced unstoppably, capturing the villages of Bocette, Nilago, Tefise and Valence and the D'Quazir castle, before advancing towards the free city. However, when they tried to take the town of Difatte, the initially quick attack turned into a big battle, because the humans started with all their strength. In addition to Sylent's own military, King Victor also fought on the side of the defenders, who also brought soldiers from the kingdom of Derenhalle to support his allies. The magicians who were students of the famous master, Alfred Brennock, caused further difficulty, but Ugraum was not afraid that there was no magical power on their side, he felt that the victory would be achieved with brute force as well. The horde's attack stalled at first and the humans fought with great determination and heroism, but eventually the attackers began to take the initiative and launched an overwhelming attack against the exhausted defenses. After the city of Difatta, they captured the village of Mazerelles and reached the territory of the free city. Events then accelerated, the horde rapidly advancing, capturing the villages of Bolease, Petta, Terise and Villago, the towns of Pansi, Polago and Remoss, and finally the Tirett castle. The mages were all slain and the last remaining soldiers and warriors of the humans retreated to Sylent and it looked very much like Ugraum would achieve his final victory, but then he was ambushed from behind.

UgraumvsAshoonShodoon

Ugraum confronts As-hoon and Sho-doon.

As-hoon and Sho-doon attacked the horde warriors with the traitors, which angered the orc chief so much that he ordered all his warriors to attack the traitors, not the city, and he wanted to personally kill the two traitorous hexers. When the two hordes clashed, Ugraum attacked As-hoon directly, but the two hexers fought against him together and for a while the big orc held out against the magical attacks, and finally Sho-doon stunned him, and his goblins kidnapped the leader. However, his loyal right-hand, Besargar, became upset when he found out what had happened to his leader and immediately rushed to his aid while the greenskins were killing each other. The goblins took Ugraum, who was still unconscious, not far from the village of Dilago, but Besargar angrily attacked the small creatures and brutally killed almost all of them, only one goblin was able to escape.

UgraumBesargarRevenge

Ugraum and Besargar swear revenge against the treacherous hexers.

Then the chief came to his senses and the berzerker told him that the hexers had started to take the rest of the horde back to Verson, but he and all the warriors were still on his side and fighting bravely for him. Ugraum was angry that he couldn't overcome the last obstacle that separated him from world domination due to a betrayal, so he decided to abandon his plans for a while and personally take revenge and kill As-hoon. By the fall of 633, Ugraum and Besargar had gathered all the orcs and goblins they could and headed for Verson to kill the traitors. However, even they were shocked when they saw that things had changed a lot. The once mighty capital was completely destroyed, there was a giant spiky, dark citadel in the area, and in addition to the orcs, knights in red armor and dark elves appeared who killed people.

UgraumBesargarSumgan

Ugraum and Besargar prepare to attack Sumgan with his warriors.

Ugraum wasn't too excited about this since it wasn't his fight, but at the same time he knew that he would have to face his new enemies as they would definitely be on As-hoon's side. Besargar said that Sho-doon was the only one who knew where the first hexer was, and that the treacherous goblin was in the castle of Le Venlo with his minions. The orc leader and the traitors first fought near the village of Meirri, where hyena riders and many goblins attacked him and his warriors, but they were killed. They then fought traitor orcs and goblins at the ruins of the castle of Le Laffeld, but were victorious and left no one alive. They then reached the castle of Le Venlo where Sho-doon was but there were a lot of goblin warriors who launched an attack on Ugraum and his group but easily slaughtered most of the small creatures. When they entered the castle, Sho-doon greeted them with joy and said that he had been waiting for them to meet again and that the traitors who kidnapped the leader earlier deserved to die and offered his help. Ugraum was only interested in leading him to As-hoon, the goblin hexer was afraid of him, but the orc leader assured him that he would be fine and that they could defeat him. The hexer even killed his own remaining followers, proving that he was on the great chief's side, and together they went to the town of Villenar, and from there to the ruins of Verson. Then Sho-doon showed his true face and when As-hoon asked who he brought to his territory, he said Ugraum, because that way the two of them could kill him more easily, and then he teleported to the treacherous orc riders. Ugraum finally had enough and decided to kill the goblin hexer as well and immediately attacked him with his warriors, while Besargar was fighting the trolls in Verson.

UgraumkillShodoon

Ugraum kill Sho-doon because his final betrayal.

The orc riders and Sho-doon together were tough opponents, but Ugraum eventually killed the treacherous riders and personally executed the treacherous goblin hexer, then went back to Verson and together with Besargar destroyed the last of the trolls. Near the dark citadel of Sumgan, As-hoon finally confronted the two angry orc chiefs with siege weapons and his last remaining followers, but by the end of the fight he was left alone. Then he told the truth that he was actually the follower of an ancient demon, Farrakh, and that if Ugraum came over to his side, he could give him such great power that he could never imagine.

UgraumAsh

Ugraum defeat As-hoon.

However, he stated that he was not interested in any other power, only that which he obtained by his own power and which he controlled, and that there was no place for such other powers in his future. He then attacked the hexer who tried to perform a spell but was too exhausted and Ugraum pierced him with his sword and As-hoon fell to the ground. Then his body began to twitch and the large orc killed him with one last big blow, and both his own and Farrakh's power left his body. After the fall of the demon and the infernal creatures, the bodies of Ugraum and Besargar were nowhere to be found, it was believed that they were not dead and could still be a threat to the people who started to build their kingdoms. After the betrayal of the hexers, the failed siege of Slyent and the deaths of As-hoon and Sho-doon, the once mighty and united horde disintegrated into clans and tribes, some remaining near Verson, while others plundered the territory of the kingdom of Derenhalle, but could not return to the wastes, as humans have cut them off from return routes. Ugraum, on the other hand, did not give up his plans for world domination and the hope of reuniting the horde again, but he soon realized that he would need new allies for his goal.

UgraumhordeTershmountains

Ugraum, Besargar and they horde prepare to lauch their attack against the dwarves of Tersh.

In the autumn-winter of 633 a.M.v., he traveled with Besargar and his remaining loyal warriors to the north-eastern mountains of Tersh to find and ally with a tribe of legendary white ogres. However, he was hindered in his goal by the dwarves living in the mountains, but Ugraum, as usual, declared to his warriors that nothing could stand in their way and that together with the white ogres, they would be unstoppable once again and invincible. The orcs marched from the village of Gashra and initially the attack progressed quickly, as the dwarves were surprised by the arrival of the invaders. Ugraum and his minions captured the Mistendorf fort and then continued to advance with his army as smaller groups went in different directions to bury the entrances to the dwarven caves. After that, they found a hammer and an anvil altar, which they looted, and the orc army took the Thanerode garrison at the cost of more serious fighting. Then the groups of orcs united with Ugraum's army and marched together against the last cave, which was protected by the legendary thane, Dwarnrock. The leader dwarves decided to confront the invaders and even the mountains trembled at his voice, but the orcs were not interested this, and Ugraum wanted to test whether his enemy's fighting skills and the strenght of his hammer were as great as his voice. A bloody battle ensued, both sides fighting fiercely and obsessively, neither side able to force the other back until Ugraum defeated and wounded Dwarnrock in a duel. Sparks poured from the armor into the snow from the strike of the great orc's sword, the dwarven leader was wounded as his troops began to wear out. Then they retreated into the cave, and Dwarnrock called upon the power of the mountains, causing the entrance to the cave to collapse and thus the remaining dwarves were able to successfully escape underground. Ugraum, on the other hand, could not be stopped by this and managed to get into the cave, where he chased his opponent, but he could not find him and he could not get out, he could only see the sunlight. Besargar and the other orcs decided to wait for him while he headed north to find the white ogres. But the enemy did not remain idle either, as Dwarnrock gathered an army in the meantime and wanted to strike back at the orcs, and although he could not fight Ugraum again, he did with his right hand and finally killed Besargar and defeated his army. It was a great loss for the chief to lose his best warrior, but he managed to achieve his goal, for he got out of the cave and found the white ogres, who accepted an alliance with the horde, so that they could lead the army next to Ugraum. After that, more and more orcs, goblins and trolls came to the north, and the chief was already preparing his next attack, which was not aimed at the dwarves, but at another area in the north. Until the summer of 636 a. M. v., Ugraum's new horde was preparing for another big invasion, and their goal was to conquer the territories of Parsa and Tersia. However, his real plan was not to do this, but to help the outcast elves and their leader, Sagittel, with whom he made an alliance to rule the world together.

The veteran elf commander searched for the Stones of Foundation, which gave him immense power, while the hordes of Ugraum, led by the white ogres, began their assault on Tersia and the neighboring lands. The humans were caught off guard by the attack, as the orcs did not initially attack, but instead built up the old capital of Tersia and several fortifications around it. After that, however, the orcs showed their usual nature and were soon able to wreak havoc, while the humans could not stop them. In the neighboring territories of Tersia, the orcs attacked with changing armies, they had weak but they had unprecedentedly strong hordes, and the people suffered a lot, there were more and more wounded people who they couldn't really take care of, they were hungry and couldn't rest because because the attacks of the orcs and the outcast elves. Ugraum and Sagittel's plans were going well and the great leader was now even closer to world domination thanks to his strong alliances and it seemed that if he could win in the north, they might actually have a chance to conquer the known world. But the success finally ended when two armies of humans, the forces of the Order of Ticsus and the Inquisition inflicted continuous defeats on the orcs and outcasts. In the autumn of 635 a. M. v., two members of the order of Ticsus, Cornelius and Captain Adrian, with their army inflicted a serious defeat on the horde in the northern part of Tersh. They recaptured the town of Vithais from the orcs while Cornelius blew up rocks at a nearby river, causing sulfur to enter the water and poison it and he even killed white ogres. The forces of the Inquisition were led by Sir Karel and Father Morcius, who fought against the orcs who mainly pillaged and robbed the southern territories of Tersh. The orcs lost more and more troops, but the biggest loss was that the humans took Tersia at the cost of great and bloody battles and killed most of the greenskins. Ugraum tried to support Sagittel's outcast elves with his last reserves, but they were also defeated, so their plans for world domination were finally doomed to failure. He had only one important group left outside of his own army, led by his most loyal warrior, Kazulgant. The chief ordered him to invade the valley of the Secret Cradle, which he did and the orcs built an altar and a cave while desecrating the holy place of the dwarves. They, on the other hand, under the leadership of a very powerful rune mage Khrand, angrily retook the valley, destroyed everything the green skins had built and exterminated them, and Kazulgant fell in the fight against the rune mage.

UgraumReturn

Ugraum returns to personally lead his last horde and the invasion against Tersia.

However, the great chief did not give up and decided to return one more time and personally show why he should be feared. In the spring of 637 a. M. v, Ugraum gathered all his remaining troops and the white ogres to prepare with them for another invasion against Tersia. However, the humans learned from their mistakes since the great defeat of the horde, and the city was completely rebuilt and a significant army protected it with strong walls. The warriors of the House of Wit saw them and began to talk, which eventually resulted in Ugraum ordering his warriors to begin the attack. After that, significant battles took place, the troops of Tersia had many knights and well-trained soldiers and launched a serious counterattack, the victory was possible, but Ugraum showed his fighting skills and brutality again, the white ogres and the horde destroyed the enemy together. After the battles, the orcs and white ogres gradually pushed forward and moved faster and faster towards Tersia, while Ugraum went to the northern forests where he met goblins, who were members of the so-called the tribe liberated from orcs and had previously sided with the humans, but when they saw their chief, they joined him again. After that, after a short siege, they captured the town of Bakeyros and the horde headed towards Tersia with all their might, but they were stopped at the gates. The humans wanted no more of the orcs' reign of terror, so they fought to the death, some of the knights broke out of the castle and launched a counterattack, but the horde surrounded them. Ugraum did not lead the attack from the front, but instead crossed the river with a smaller unit, where he killed some rangers in an abandoned elf camp, found an elixir of life, and then attacked the castle from the rear.

Ugraumlastvictory

Ugraum's last great victory at the gates of Tersia while the white ogres, golems and the horde invade the city.

The power of the chief and the white ogres was great and they broke through the gates and although the castle was protected by many ballistas, the golems that summoned by the mystical creatures managed to force the operators of the machines into close combat, so they could no longer shoot the orcs. The horde broke into the city, street fighting began, which ended in a short time, and after that the fighting continued at the citadel, but the situation was hopeless, most of the city of Tersia fell. This was Ugraum's last great victory where he showed that he can defeat even a completely rebuilt and learned from mistakes army with fewer units. After that, however, something happened that no one expected. When the last remaining men of the defenders fought, Ugraum proposed a parley. At first, no one understood what was going on, but the white ogres suddenly stopped and only defended themselves, but did not attack, and then the orcs as well. The orc chief then again offered the possibility of a parley, and the leader of the defenders, Prince Heigo, stepped forward and accepted it. They agreed that Tersia would become a joint city of orcs and ogres, and in return they would provide Tersh with the protection of trade caravans and the maintenance of peace. However, the reason for Ugraum's peace was much more important, as it is likely that he saw that he had to stop now for good, otherwise the humans could unite again against the orcs and another united war would destroy him and the tribes that were still with him once and for all. The legendary orc chief, who wanted to conquer the world several times, won seemingly impossible victories, all humans uttered his name in terror and scared their children with him at night, he finally found peace and neither he nor his warriors broke the agreement.

Powers & Abilities[]

Ugraum was perhaps one of the strongest orc warriors ever. Compared to the other orcs, he was abnormally large and wide, and it was extremely strong. He was able to easily single-handedly destroy smaller groups without any exhaustion or injury, and he defeated even the strongest of his opponents in open combat. In addition, he was an excellent strategist, as he was able to defeat armies much better, more organized and stronger than his own and almost completely destroyed the kingdoms of Derenhalle and Leranse with his successes.
