Ulrich is a supporting antagonist The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion Hearts of Stone. He is a former knight of the Order of the Flaming Rose, now after the fall of the Order, he is the grand master of the Fallen Knights who attack random people and eliminate those who threaten their Monopoly.
Biography[]
Ulrich was a knight of the Order of the Flaming Rose until the Grand Master of the Order Jacques de Aldersberg died at the hands of Geralt of Rivia, causing the fall of the said order. After the death of the previous grandmaster, he took over his position in the order, which was a difficult task for Ulrich especially after the outbreak of the Third Northern War.
Ulrich begged Radovid to which the king of Redania agreed on the condition that they would fight on his side of the conflict. However, most of the Order's knights died in the war, so Radovid decided to dissolve the Order and set up a new military organization of his own called the Witch Hunters which aims to eliminate all magicians and sorceresses, the surviving knights were forced to join the witch hunters because if they refuse they will be banished or come to prisons.
