Ultra-Morpho (DC)

Ultra-Morpho made his first appearance in Batman/Superman: World's Finest #14 (June 2023), where he was introduced as a new and deadly android created by NewMazo, a successor to Professor Ivo's Amazo. Unlike Amazo, which could mimic the powers of the Justice League, Ultra-Morpho possesses the ability to transform into any element, including Kryptonite, making him a unique and formidable threat to Earth's heroes.

Biography[]

Ultra-Morpho was created by NewMazo, who had previously kidnapped Simon Stagg and faked his death to frame Metamorpho. To further his plans, NewMazo developed Ultra-Morpho, an android capable of transforming into any element, including Kryptonite. This ability made Ultra-Morpho a significant threat to Superman and other heroes.

When Batman and Superman began investigating the mysterious death of Simon Stagg, they discovered that the corpse was a fake and suspected Professor Ivo of being involved. Their investigation led them to a factory in the Allegheny Mountains, where they found multiple android duplicates of several industrialists. An unknown mastermind taunted them from the speakers before deploying Ultra-Morpho to kill Superman with his Kryptonite body.

Batman, wearing armor made with the Metal Men, arrived on the scene with Metamorpho, but even their combined might was not enough to defeat the android. Ultra-Morpho captured Batman and Superman and stood guard over them. However, they secretly built a bow, and Oliver Queen, disguised as Green Arrow, used it to hit a damaged spot in Ultra-Morpho's body, shattering him. Ultra-Morpho attempted to reassemble himself but was stopped by Firestorm, who vaporized his fragments.

Powers and Abilities[]

Android Body: Ultra-Morpho is a biomechanical organism with the ability to mimic any element.
- Molecular Reconstruction: Ultra-Morpho can transmute his body into any element and combine them to create compounds.
  - Radiation Production: Ultra-Morpho can transmute his body into Green Kryptonite to weaken Kryptonians.
  - Pyrokinesis: Ultra-Morpho can generate flames from his body.
  - Aerokinesis: Ultra-Morpho can transmute his body into gases, becoming intangible and invulnerable to conventional damage.
  - Toxikinesis: Ultra-Morpho can transmute his body into acid to burn his enemies.
Superhuman Strength: Ultra-Morpho has great physical strength and has been able to easily go toe-to-toe with Batman while the latter was wearing armor made with the Metal Men.
