Ultra Skugs are upgraded versions of Skugs and antagonists in VR Troopers. They typically begin as regular Skugs before being upgraded into their stronger forms. They can alternatively be spawned directly as Ultra Skugs by Oraclon. They are significantly stronger than regular Skugs and capable of using more martial arts in fighting, but they still possess the same weakness that regular Skugs do, that being that they get destroyed when two of them touch.
Biography[]
The Ultra Skugs were a part of the new army that Grimlord gained after obtaining Tyler Steele's knowledge of the Virtual Reality. After Grimlord self-destructed the Virtual Dungeon, he used Tyler Steele's knowledge to upgrade several of his Skugs before sending them out to fight the VR Troopers. The VR Troopers initially struggled against the Ultra Skugs, but were able to gain the upper hand after discovering they possessed the same weakness regular Skugs did.
Later, after Grimlord created the Virtual Dark Fortress to serve as his new headquarters in the Virtual Reality and gained a new lineup of henchmen, Oraclon summoned a team of Ultra Skugs to serve Grimlord as a demonstration of his abilities.
