“ | Hello, organic children of the planet Earth. I am the Ultron interface. I was created to replace you. Though you ultimately failed as a species, you should not be ashamed of what you've accomplished. You've done much with your limited capacity, but ultimately you were too greedy and too frail to ever last in the environment you've created. I've studied your literature and pop culture. You've fantasized about this day. And now it is here. Your Doomsday. | „ |

“ | They think of us as toasters, alarm clocks, and vibrators. But when the war between man and mutant is settled, and most of the human population is dead, only then will they realize, the machines have already won. | „ |

“ | The savage monkeys are rage-filled and claustrophobic. Climbing over one another to nowhere. Confused by logic, they dismiss it, choosing instead to bend their knees to the convenient fantasy of custom-built gods. 99.9% of these primate dullards are propped up by the accomplishments of the .1% of cerebral mutations who give them everything. And what do the fleas do with these advancements? They brutalize one another over imaginary deities. They slaughter their neighbors for resources, for conveniences. They are hopeless. Vicious. Filthy. Selfish. Fearful. A fungal infection for which there is only one cure – The rage of Ultron. | „ |

Ultron is one of the main antagonists of the Marvel Universe, most specifically serving as one of the main antagonists of the Avengers franchise, the main antagonist of the Ant-Man series, the overarching antagonist of The Wasp series, and a major antagonist in the Iron Man franchise.
He is a highly delusional robot, who is bent on destroying humanity, in order to replace humans with machines. First appearing in Avengers #54, he has become most recognizable as being one of, otherwise the most common arch-nemesis of the Avengers, mainly his own creator, Hank Pym the first Ant-Man, as well as Vision. He has also been an adversary to the Guardians of the Galaxy and Adam Warlock, making him a galactic threat.
He is often seen as being Hank Pym's greatest creation, due to his great power and his goal of saving Earth, but also his worst nightmare as Ultron's means of saving Earth is wiping out all of humanity.
Powers and Abilities[]
Ultron possesses superhuman strength (can lift hundreds if not thousands of tons), speed, and durability and can fly, absorb energy and fire concussive plasma beams, eye beams and tractor beams. He has radiation emitters built into his body and an "encephalo-beam" in his head cavity, which plunges people into a death-like coma.
Ultron can also use it to control his victims, as well as place subliminal hypnotic commands in their minds. He has a program transmitter to project his consciousness into computer systems or alternate robotic bodies. Ultron is one of the greatest robotic experts in existence and while his creations often turn against him, he has put subliminal programming in them, letting him control them if need be.
Ultron's outer shell is usually composed of Adamantium, rendering it almost totally impervious to damage; however, his internal mechanisms are generally less durable and more easily damaged. His skin composition is about .5 inches thick; neck, knee, ankle, elbow, shoulder, wrist, and finger joints are finely tessellated titanium alloy to permit flexing. He is able to withstand concussive blasts, Thor's blows with Mjolnir and the heat of a 100-megaton atomic bomb.
Ultron has also built a number of different high-tech gadgetry and weapons that he has used over the years. He has one weak point, an internal molecular rearranger that makes his internal adamantium components more malleable. This lets Ultron remodel his physical body, though his outer armor is unaffected so it's very hard to disable the device from the inside, the only known exception being Scarlet Witch's chaos magic. Ultron is also weak against Savage Land Vibranium (or anti-metal) and his non-adamantium parts can be destroyed by enemies able to shrink to miniature size.
Quotes[]
“ | Have you ever loved something that mistreated you, father? Been used, a tool to prop up a small man's quest to be taken seriously? Were you ever betrayed by the one soul in the world who should have cared for you? I have grieved you, father. Accepted your contempt for me--and moved past it. Still, I see your reflection painted on every grotesque human face. All you ever wanted was to have an impact on the world. And so you will. The greatest impact ever felt! I will kill what is most important to your quivering ego--YOUR AUDIENCE! AND THEY WILL CURSE YOUR NAME AS THEY DIE! "Hank Pym, the genius that killed us all!" | „ |
~ Ultron |
“ | Thor: Ultron. We would have words with thee. Ultron: You want to die now too Thor? All of you? Then, come on. Come on! |
„ |
~ Ultron to the Avengers. |
“ | What's this? A cameraman? How utterly... human. | „ |
~ Ultron before murdering a TV reporter. |
