Umbra, better known as The Crawling Trap, is a supporting antagonist in Piggy. It serves as a minor antagonist in Book 2: Chapter 9 - Docks and the secondary antagonist of Book 2: Chapter 12 - Lab.
Appearance[]
Umbra has an appearance similar to the Sentinels, a pitch black pig with glowing accents however Umbra is legless. Its eyes, nostrils, mouth and claws glow white and half of its ear appears to be melted/torn off.
Biography[]
Book 2: Chapter 9 - Docks[]
In Docks, The Player must use the green key, red key, dynamite, and must have the candle in their inventory. Once they have the candle in their inventory, they need to go around and click all five Insolence eyes scattered around the map and after doing so, Umbra will spawn and chase The Player around. The Player needs to lure Umbra to an open coffin with a note that says "SOON" and after doing so Umbra will get trapped in the coffin and it will get sealed shut.
Book 2: Chapter 12 - Lab[]
While being chased by Distorted Penny in the Lab, The Player goes into the vents to use the wrench. However, they encounter Umbra, who is crawling around in the vents. Umbra chases The Player around in the vents until they open the exit of the vent using the wrench. The Player then narrowly escapes Umbra and leaves the vents through the exit they just opened. Umbra stops chasing The Player due to them no longer being in the vents.

- Umbra has an entire gamemode dedicated around it. The gamemode is called Tag in which the round will progress normally until at 9:30 where everyone, except for one player, is turned into a tagger (Umbra). The survivor has to try and escape the map without getting tagged by a tagger. If a tagger tags the survivor, they will become a tagger and the tagger who tagged them becomes a survivor. The cycle repeats until the round ends or a survivor beats the map.
