Biography[]

Nubar and Zsa-Zsa (whose real name is Anatole) both shared a father, but did not grow up together. The Korda family was a wealthy family known for producing technology such as airplanes, hand grenades, and chemical agents. Nubar and Zsa-Zsa both became esteemed businessmen, and became each other's rivals. When Zsa-Zsa married his first wife Magdalene, Nubar started having an affair with her out of spite. Zsa-Zsa found out about this and spread the rumor that the wife was having another affair with Zsa-Zsa's assistant to anger Nubar. To Zsa-Zsa's shock, Nubar responded by murdering Magdalene, placing the blame on Zsa-Zsa. Zsa-Zsa was not convicted, but believed by the public to be responsible for the murder. Nubar and Zsa-Zsa did not speak for about two decades following this, although occasionally did business through an intermediary.

Zsa-Zsa, having survived countless assassination attempts, invites his estranged daughter Liesl to his estate. He tells her that Nubar killed her mother, and that he might be her real father. The two make a pledge to bring him to justice. The two go on a journey through Phoenicia in an attempt to gain the money for Zsa-Zsa's planned modernization of Phoenicia. They fail and are forced to ask Nubar for the remaining sum. They meet him at the Desert Oasis Palace Hotel, where he admits to the wife's murder but claims that Liesl's father was Zsa-Zsa's secretary. Nubar refuses to pay the remaining money, leaving Zsa-Zsa bankrupt. Zsa-Zsa accepts this ending, but while making a speech, Nubar pulls him into a side room. Nubar reveals that he was the mastermind for Zsa-Zsa's assassination attempts, and begins fighting Zsa-Zsa in an attempt to kill him. The two brawl, but Nubar overpowers Zsa-Zsa. Nubar pulls out a poisonous chemical agent to finish Zsa-Zsa, but it does not break and lands in Zsa-Zsa's hands. Zsa-Zsa throws the poison back at Nubar and traps him in the room with it. As Nubar is dying from the poison, he breaks through the curtain and faces Zsa-Zsa and all his family and associates. Nubar pulls out a hand grenade and motions to throw it at them, but cannot bring himself to do it and it detonates in his own hand, blowing himself up to pieces.
