Thunder Ninja Undaigo is a minor antagonist of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, serving as the primary antagonist of the Episode 24. He was an eel/taiko drum themed energy member of Sargain's Jakanja Ninja Corps and, similarly to his predecessors, he was sent to Earth and tasked by his master Tau Zant to destroy Hurricanegers and Gouraigers and devastate the Earth in order to invoke the Evil Will and help Jakanja take over the universe.
He was voiced by Koichi Tochika.
Biography[]
Udaigo was created by Sargain, when Jakanja general researched on the Gouraigers's electric energy powers to absorb electricity and combined these abilities with the space lightning taiko drums. Undaigo was then sent by Tau Zanto to the Earth and the evil electric ninja attacked Tokyo. Undaigo arrived to the roofs of the city and started causing his rampage, eventually bringing the attention of Hurricanegers and Gouraigers. In the first clash with the ninja superheroes, Undaigo easily defeated them by absorbing their attacks with his powers and firing it back on the Rangers. Udaigo then fleed, because Ikkou again felt painful, because of Manmaruba's scorpion egg inside his body, which made him unconscious. Isshuu took his brother from the battlefield, while Undaigo then recontinued his reign of havoc, terror and chaos in town.
Later, Shurikenger arrived to help his friends and created a plan to defeat the evil thunder ninja. Yousuke, Kouta and Nanami again fought the villain, but were again quickly outmatched by his energy absorbing abilities. Shurikenger arrived to Udaigo and tricked the villain by transforming into the random man and tricked the energy alien into thinking that he was a random person, who was impressed with Undaigo's music and wanted the alien ninja to teach him his music. Undaigo caught the bait and showed his music, while Ikkou and Ishuu arrived and played their own taiko drums party in order to block the monster's energy absorbing powers. The Gouraigers eventually outmatched the villain and after this, the duo finished the puppet ninja off with their double gadget.
However, Wendinu and Furabiijo sent the Copy Giant and it revived and enlarged Undaigo. Undaigo fought the Rangers's mechas and robos. The two robots were formed and prepared to fight the electric ninja, but Ikkou again felt great pain and was struck down. Senupuujin arrived to the battlefield to the Rangers's rescue. Shurikenger arrived and sent Kabuto a new Shinobi Medal to form the Kabuto Gani. Gouraijin enforced the fast work through the monster and tossed Undaigo in air, destroying the evil ninja with the new Karakuri weapon.
