Underground King is a minor antagonist of the Tokyo Ghoul franchise.
He was a ghoul who lived in the 24th Ward. The locals referred to him as Naagaraji, though he was also known as the King of the Ghouls. He is considered an important figure in ghoul mythology and is believed to have lived around a hundred years ago and became the subject of numerous rumors and legends.
Appearance[]
He appears to be a man of ordinary height with black hair and wore ordinary clothes. He also appears to be a one-eyed ghoul but later became stone due to the events in the 24th Ward.
Biography[]
He was born in Washuu Clan as a One-Eyed Ghoul and he lived in the 24th Ward which is an underground labyrinth in Tokyo. Not much else was known about his past and he later turned into stone which led people spread rumors about him and the 24th Ward.
Trivia[]
The name "Naagaraji" is derived from Sanskrit which is a serpent-like figure which appears in Hinduism and Buddhist mythology.
