| ~ Unicron |
Unicron is the overarching antagonist of Dreamwave's comic book adaptations of Transformers: Armada and Transformers: Energon. He is known for traveling throughout the multiverse and devouring entire realities in his path.
Biography[]
Unicron attacked various planets and universes among them was an alternate G1 universe from which the Minicons were not biologically created from Unicron unlike in the anime adaptation. Over-Run the last of his kind was sent to a Armada universe, with a relic to warn Optimus Prime of Unicron's immense danger.
After plunging the Cybertron of a G1-based universe to near-extinction, Unicron sent that universe's tortured and barely alive Optimus Prime to the Transformers: Armada universe as a warning that he's targeting their universe next. Unicron then sent his heralds (Bludgeon, Dirge, Galvatron, Scourge, and Thunderwing) to invade their version of Cybertron, with the intention of killing the Optimus Prime and Megatron of that universe. Unfortunately for them, the Armada Optimus Prime was accidentally sent to the ravaged G1 universe, where he would encounter the sole-survivor Spinister. Spinister was driven insane by the experience and willingly accepted his inevitable fate. Although, Jetfire managed to track down and save Optimus, Spinister was not so lucky, as him and his entire universe were consumed by Unicron. After his heralds were defeated, Unicron would finally arrive to the Transformers: Armada universe where he himself would be defeated by the Mini-Con Matrix and transported to parts unknown but not before taking Megatron with him, as well as kidnapping Airazor, Cheetor, Rhinox and Terrorsaur.
Post Unicron Battles[]
Around the time the transformers defeated Unicron, Megatron is tortured to near death.
Although heavily damaged, Unicron managed to survive. Around this time, he managed to dismantle Megatron horrifically, placing his spark within him. Megatron was forced to create a new body the hard way, without physical means, relying more on materials of Unicron to do so. Ten years later, he would reactivate Alpha Quintesson as the main leader of the terrorcons to restore Unicron to full power so he can continue his rampage again.
He created Terrorcons, super powered Decepticons with new weapons and powers to outmatch the Transformers, even reformatted those like Rhinox, Cheetor, Airazor and Terrorsaur into guardsmen like warriors.
Optimus Prime discovers Unicron is not so dead after all.
Optimus Prime uneasy after the Unicron Battles, led a stakeout with two other autobots: Hotshot and Ironhide. Finding an access hub station, meeting with Alpha Trion, a past autobot leader, who showcases Optimus Prime the confirmation of Unicron's survival, along with Megatron who speaks to Optimus telepathically of that he must free him and that he can defeat Unicron, giving an interesting hint of the Terrorcons next planet: Earth. The victims of the Unicron battles known as the Horsemen would cause mayhem on cybertron while the Terrorcons attacked Earth to harvest its resources. Thanks to Alpha Trion the autobots would learn of the powerlinx techinque to combat against the Terrorcons and Horsemen of Unicron.
The Global Terrorcon Invasion[]
Optimus Prime, enters a machine control room, that contains the connection to Megatron's spark to Unicron.
Optimus Prime eventually transported into Unicron, by accident and discovered Megatron, along with various inactive transformer drones, the Terrorcons were sent to attack the earth, The transformers would fight their enemies, but because these terrorcons were clones, expendable pawns, they would not last long. Realizing the ultimatium, Optimus decides to free Megatron, venturing in Unicron's body, and discovering horrific areas that scared the autobot leader. Finding a machine that kept Megatron from entering his new body, only to be distracted by Unicron's defense systems, in the forms of spiders. Optimus Prime destroyed the systems and crushed the machine, freeing Megatron and ending the invasion. Megatron alluded to Jetfire that Optimus sent his regards into the belly of the beast, referring to the beast as Unicron, while he fought and killed Scorponok.
After the invasion and Scorponok's demise, Ironhide witnessed the fight between both the decepticon and terrorcon leaders, and told the autobots on cybertron that Megatron is back. One of the council members also learn from Jetfire of Prime's current whearabouts, believing that he might be dead. He then leaves and learns from Alpha Quintesson, that Optimus Prime has currently vanished from Unicron's sensors for now however, and admit Unicron is getting closer and closer to being rebuild and his automated defenses will destroy him soon. Meanwhile, in the final panel of issue 30, reveals hordes of dismantled drones, by Optimus Prime himself, armed with a heavy cannon, and began his new goal of ending Unicron, boasting that he was coming for him.
After Terrorcon Invasion[]
Over Run discovers the origins to Alpha Quintesson and why he has ties to Unicron. Unused comic panel for issue 31, discovered in a Transformers Convention recently in 2022.
While future adventures of Unicron were not explored more further, due to Dreamwave's company going bankrupt. In 2010, its was finally decided by the writer of the Energon comics to unravel the rest of the story and Unicron's fate.
In issue 31, taking place six months after the Terrorcon attacks and Optimus Prime's dissapperance, Over-Run learned from his matrix hub machine that Unicron was directly responsible for Alpha Quintesson's planet and empire in shambles. Alpha Quintesson was reactivated due to the extensive damaged he recieved from the Unicron Battles, where he had planned to destroy Unicron by using a weapon called the conduit. However it was destroyed and the Quintesson become lost to time as the latter was devoured by Unicron, thus explaining how he came across Unicron the present era. Alpha Quintesson also worked with a council member, Levitacus, and were attempting to kidnap Kicker Jones, sending Demolisher to earth, while the Horsemen were sent to various other worlds. In issues 32-35: The Horsemen discovered Nervissa, and rich ore planet, enough energy to finally rebuild Unicron. The Horsemen were sent to mars, who were are eventually killed by Omega Supreme, while Unicron would reawaken again, but Alpha developed a backup plan where a Levitacus, discovered a nuclear warhead and transported to Unicron, destroying him, but causing the singularity which would've been the tie in for Transformers: Cybertron.

- Also the Minicons may not be part of him as well, as the Minicons didn't posses any relations to Unicron.
