Work to Fight. Fight to Work.
~ UFLL's poster.

The United Front for Liberation and Labour (abbreviated as the UFLL) are one of the two main antagonists (alongside the Alliance for Popular Resistance) of Far Cry 2. They are the remains of the former Authenticity Party who are at war with the APR since the APR took over the UAC.

Overview[]

Addi Mbantuwe's United Front from Liberation and Labour was mainly formed as the fragment of the former Authenticity Party following the fall of the government by the Alliance for Popular Resistance in 1998. Mbantuwe fastly reassemble local militia and labor organizers to his cause, even though Major Oliver Tambossa attempt to keep the nation under the flag of the APR. Due to the lack of any military background or experience of his own, Mbantuwe bargain with aground Bastion UK contractor Hector Voorhees for most security concerns. However, Mbantuwe is still the public face of the UFLL, despite Voorhees' increasingly regarded role.

In 2005, the UFLL participated the raging civil war with the APR for three years and it's ongoing as of late 2008. It is unknown if either the UFLL or the APR would win the war, but it is assumed that it will end in a stalemate shortly after the Jackal flee.

Ideology[]

As the remnants of the Authenticity Party since the APR occupied the UAC, the UFLL are made-up with local militia and labourers fought to make them withdraw. They viewed Mbantuwe as their political figure. Their exact ideals and political beliefs are unknown, but when the APR labelled the UFLL a "communist dictatorship" while the red star is printed on APR's propaganda, it's implied the UFLL is on far-left and is anti-Fascist as their name implies. Although, both groups most likely have the same ideology, such as their interest in greed and power, and oppression of people.
