The United States of America, often shortened to U.S. or USA, was a Pre-War country in the Fallout franchise. The country nominally followed democracy, however it was secretly run by the military industrial complex which called themselves the "Enclave".
In 2060, available fuel reserves began to run out worldwide and this started to make Energy conflicts between People's Republic of China and America.
The US had annexed Canada, and invaded Mexico for resources.
In 2066, the People's Republic of China had invaded Alaska. Prompting a war with the United States. This conflict then turned into The Great War, a large-scale nuclear event which scorched the Earth for generations to come.
The United States later lived on as the Enclave in the post-nuclear war, and would go on to attempt genocide twice.
