Universal Cybernetics Corporation is the main villain in the Atari video game Corporation and the Sega Genesis video game Cyber-Cop.
Company's Background
In a dark future, Universal Cybernetics Corporation (U.C.C.) is both the largest corporation and employer in London. Lately, the company is facing controversy. According to several news reports, a creature has been spotted roaming the streets of London and killing local residents. The monster has been dubbed as "Ripper" and "Freddie". The CIA blames Universal Cybernetics Corporation for releasing the monster. This is due to popular rumors that U.C.C. conducts illegal genetic experiments. On a similar note, U.C.C. is respected for manufacturing cybernetic implants and body modifications.
Truth
The top secret organization ZODIAC sends one of its spies to infiltrate the U.C.C. headquarters and acquire any evidence of the company's illegal activities. The spy, also known as Cyber-Cop, manages to break into the facility. Cyber-Cop is confronted by many security systems and defense robots during his/her/its mission. After a long journey throughout the facility, Cyber-Cop manages to acquire data proving Universal Cybernetics Corporation is responsible for illegal experiments and the existence of "Ripper" AKA "Freddie". Cyber-Cop then manages to escape the complex with the data. With the data exposed to the general public, U.C.C. is shut down by the government.
