Univolt is the electrical Mutant kept in the X-Vault who served Frax. He was the main antagonist of the Power Rangers Time Force episode "Worlds Apart" and is the one responsible for revealing Wes Collins' identity as the Red Time Force Ranger to his father Mr. Collins.
He was voiced by the late Bob Papenbrook who also voiced Daemon and ShogunGekomon in Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01, Deviot in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, and Shadowborg in Big Bad Beetleborgs.
Biography[]
Past[]
One thousand years in the future, children are born in labs with traits designated by their parents to include features like super strength. During one of the required genetic enhancement sessions, one of the vials containing embryonic biomass unexpectedly fell and shattered, spilling the contents into a drain where the staff believed that the biomass would die out due to exposure to the outside world. However, instead of dissolving, the sewer environment around said spilled biomass unexpectedly caused it to mutate into Mutants including Univolt. Due to racism in the future, the Mutants turned to crime ans terrorism so the Time Force Police were formed to handle them with Univolt eventually being captured and cyrogenically frozen. Due to being exceptionally dangerous though, Univolt was imprisoned in the X-Vault due to the massive threat that he poses to the human race.
Time Force[]
When Ransik steals the Time Ship and takes it back to the year 2001, Univolt's cryogenically frozen body is amongst the prisoners taken with him. Due to being in the X-Vault however, Ransik is unaware of this.
After Frax discovers the X-Vault, Univolt is eventually released to destroy the Time Force Rangers, the Silver Guardians and Silver Hills. Univolt attacks with an army of Cyclobots and proves to be too strong for the Rangers; using a powerful shotgun and being an extremely dangerous enemy. He easily defeatd the Rangers and startd to crush the city before the Silver Guardians arrived and try to fight the mutant but, even together, the Rangers and the soldiers cannot defeat the Mutant. Univolt nearly kills the Silver Guardian commander, but Wes takes the blast himself which breaks his helmet and reveals his identity to Eric and his father. Univolt continues his rampage and easily bests the other Rangers but Wes gains the upper-hand and finally defeats Univolt with his Time Strike and V-Weapon. With Univolt down for the moment, they are able to bring in the Mutant with the Vortex Blaster before he has the chance to remove his Seal Patch and grow giant.
After Ransik's defeat and Frax's death, Venomark and the rest of the Mutants are taken back to the future to be imprisoned.

Somehow, Univolt is seen in 2025 when he is among the aliens gathering clothing from Jack and Z at the Parkington Market.
