“ | "I saw my corpse, and from my mouth crawled Hatred." "A father burned his children on a pyre, And a mother molded a new age from the ashes." It is only you and I here, Wanderer... no reason for theatrics, just truths. That fool Inarius dragged the Cathedral into Hell because of a poem scribbled out by a half-breed abomination. Then you escort that girl to our destruction and call it righteous. And you think I am one who is mad? I offered the people order. I offered them salvation. I offered them a light against the darkness. What do you offer? |

~ Urivar's last words to The Wanderer before his death. |
Urivar is the major antagonist in Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred.
He was one of the Knights Penitent who survived Cathedral of Light battle with Lilith in the Hell. After Inarius death, he founded the order of Burnt Knights and separated from the Cathedral of Light.
He is voiced by Piotr Michael.
Personality[]
Urivar is a ruthless and sadistic fanatic who doesn't hesitate to kill anyone who stands in his way. This is shown by the fact that he does not hesitate to impale The Wanderer with his sword and drop him into the water only because he refused to help him find Neyrelle. His ruthlessness, sadism and fanatism is also evident when he brutally mutilates Raheir's hand only to blackmail The Wanderer into revealing Neyrelle's whereabouts, to which the Wanderer rightly replies, "You bastard!" (what show clear disapproval of Urivar's ruthless, sadistic and fanatical actions). On top of that, he said he was willing to kill or torture many other people to find Neyrelle, asking The Wanderer: "How many lives will you trade to protect Neyrelle?"
