Urzael is one of the villains of Diablo 3.
A henchman of Malthael, a villain and ex-angel, also known as The Harbringer of Death and a leader of the Reapers. He was 100% loyal to Malthael too and his most loyal follower and lieutenant as well. After Malthael disappeared from the High Heavens, he begged the Angiris Council to look for his master. A little later, they accepted and as a company, he had angelic maidens to help him, who were also very close to Malthael.
Urzael believed Malthael needed to be in Heaven. Tyrael, hero, and angel, recommended that they search for Malthael in Sanctuary since he had this fascination with humans. As they were looking, they discovered mortals chose to say and do evil than good and when he found Malthael, they both felt the same way about humanity and believed they needed to be destroyed.
By the time of the events of Diablo 3, Urzael became huge and commanded the Reapers and ordered that they destroy the heroic Nephalem. As the Nephalem were beating Malthael and his followers, Urzael tried to burn the city of Westmarch and in an attempt to kill the humans there too. The Nephalem finally confronted Urzael and defeated him.
He and the Maidens Of Flame are the sole Reapers, with the elemental power of fire.
Urzael is the only angel in the Diablo games to laugh too. During the fight, he'll leap and shoots an orb of fire, which causes a lot of damage. He'll also fire his cannon and emit a beam of fire at the Nephalem.
