Alright, so, I wanna check out the series and Pixarfan asked me if I want to propose him. So yeah, I decided to check out his arc and it's safe to say he's one of the keepers.
What's the work?[]
Transformers: Robots in Disguise is an animated series featuring Bumblebee and his team fighting against Decepticons threats.
Who's the candidate?[]
Megatronus is the main antagonist of the two-part episode Battlegrounds. He attempted to collide Earth with Cybertron.
What has he done?[]
Before the events of the series, Megatronus crafted the Requiem Blaster and after being overinfluenced by evil, he then murdered Solus with the blaster itself.
After escaping imprisonment, Megatronus plotted to destroy Earth and successfully weakened Bumblebee and his team. He then encountered Optimus Prime and had a battle against him.
Bumblebee and Drift then went after his friends, as Megatronus blasted his beams on Optimus, reflecting on Bee and Drift. He then tossed Optimus away telekinetically and then confronted Windblade who escaped, and later effortlessly weakened her.
Megatronus then confronted Steeljaw's pack and rejected Steeljaw's deal with him. He then effortlessly threw him away and then fought the heroes for one last time.
Upon reaching to his staff, Megatronus then attempted to crash Earth with Cybertron. The plan failed, and Megatronus wanted to to kill the heroes out of spite. Bumblebee and his team managed to weaken him with the statue's arm, leaving him distracted, and he was finished off with a beam, erasing him and ending his reign for good.
Mitigating factors?[]
Seems like Megatronus has none, even if he's heroic, he is now far past it. And no, he's not a generic doomsday villain since he does have a personality.
Heinous standard?[]
Megatronus stands out, and while there are villains who tried to kill Autobots and Decepticons alike, he stands out more for trying to end all humanity. This would make him even more unique and despicable to others.
Verdict?[]
I'd say yes but it's up to you.
