Unicron Prime Wars

So, no body?

Overlord TR

Howdy? Overlord's here, and he's gonna kill ya.

Alright, being whitelisted is a very cautious thing that I need to consider. Seriously, if you fail, you won't get the spotlight.

Anyways, today, I will propose two candidates in one proposal, and it is from a bad media. Yeah, it's bad, but at least Megatron was the only thing iconic about it. And of course, it's Unicron and Overlord.

What's the work?[]

Transformers: Prime Wars trilogy is a web animated series created by Hasbro and published by Machinima. The trilogy consisted the movie Combiner Wars and two episodic series Titans' Return and Power of The Primes. They featured Autobots and Decepticons fighting over greater villainous threats.

Who are the character?[]

Overlord is one of the secondary antagonists of the series. He is a Decepticon who sought to collect all Transformers' lifesparks to submit Megatronus' plans.

Unicron is the final antagonist of the series. He once was a devourer of planets, who attempted to corrupt Megatron to fulfill his goals of conquering planets in the form of Galvatron.

What have they done?[]

In the past, Unicron committed mass omnicides on planets, one of them was presumably Lithione. Like his Generation One counterpart, he corrupted Megatron into Galvatron and killed Optimus Prime, though everything was undone. Later, Unicron was beheaded by Megatronus with the Requiem Blaster, destroyed most of Unicron beside his head.

Eons later, Overlord was elected by Megatronus to submit his vengeance on Megatron. In Unicron's head, he found the Matrix of Chaos to corrupt Hot Rod, and the latter later became Rodimus Cron. Before the corruption, Overlord brutally killed Mistress of Flames for no reason at all.

As Overlord and Rodimus Cron on their way to collect all the Transformers' life sparks, Rodimus Cron brutally murders Computron to remove his spark. Overlord then beat up Menasor and brutally injured Devastator for the location of Megatron's team. He then put them in an unconscious state, as their sparks were removed from their bodies. When they were close approaching the heroes, they killed the Dinobots (except Grimlock), and removed their sparks as well.

Overlord and Rodimus Cron finally encountered the heroes, and they had one final fight until Optimus Primal fired the Requiem Blaster at Overlord, killing him. Rodimus Cron then headed to the location of Megatronus for his vengeance. Before that, Rodimus Cron brutally killed Victorion by ripping her head off, under Overlord's orders.

When Rodimus Cron arrived, he upgraded his size and fought against Megatronus, until he was weakened and the Matrix of Chaos was removed from Hot Rod. At the final moments, Unicron's essence inside the Matrix of chaos began to corrupt Megatron to return to his villainy and attempted to corrupt him into Galvatron once again. However, Megatron refused and allowed Optimal Optimus to blast him off with the Requiem Blaster, with Megatron telling Unicron to shut up.

Migrating Factors[]

One thing, you could say that Overlord is loyal towards Megatronus. Yeah, but they only interacted for a very limited amount of time, but there is no indication that it was genuine loyalty. While Overlord did happily served him, it was out of sadism and revenge on Megatron. Nothing else.

Unicron, on the other hand, may suffers from off-screen villainy. I could say otherwise because that must be the reason why he got decapitated in the first place. Also, he wanted to corrupt Megatron into Galvatron to continue his goals again, so that should explain everything why he would commit such acts. Since the series is modified after Generation One, I would say he committed the same crimes the original incarnation did.

Heinous standard?[]

Overlord should not be compared with Unicron, and of course, I personally say he stays due to his brutal murders on the Transformers to collect lifesparks from them. He served Megatronus, but has no redeeming features and happily harm those who are in his way, proving that he is on the same scale as his boss, who has redeeming qualities of caring Solus Prime.

Unicron is the final heinous standard of the series, he devoured planets, and finally corrupted Megatron to do horrendous acts. I believe that he stays as well. Even if it's offscreen, Generation One might be the case for the crimes that makes him stays.

Verdict?[]

Yes for both of them, and what do you think? I am trying my best in my proposals.
