Hello guys today I've decided to make a double proposal that combines two candidates' to hit two birds with one stone as I like to think. They come from the same work of Super Sentai and without further ado let's go ahead.
As well as that both candidates come from movies so I will give an overview of everything relating to the work too.
Just a note that since there are many candidates from this franchise that I want to propose, I'll make an effort to clear them up first.

What's the Work?[]
Overview of the Show[]
The franchise that both of our candidates originate from is Super Sentai which contains many installments. This installment specifically is Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. The show is about 5 later 6 police with special technology that gives them the power to keep super criminals that tend to mostly be aliens in check. There are many branches of this organization called SPD (Special Police Dekaranger) and our heroes come from the Earth branch. They fight Alienizer criminals supplied with weapons by the enigmatic Agent Abrella and every episode foil one devious plot after the other. All while hunting the mastermind of all the crimes at the same time.
Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger the Movie: Full Blast Action[]
The first candidate comes from the movie called Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger the Movie: Full Blast Action which is about the Dekarangers combatting a special group of Alienizers called the Algolian Gas Drinkers, the leader of whom is our candidate. They have a biological virus that they plan to infect innocents from many worlds into machine slaves. The DekaGold (from another SPD branch) comes to the Earth Branch to call for help since plant Leslie was just infected. Together the Dekarangers must end this virus and stop the culprits responsible.
Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 YEARS AFTER[]
The second candidate comes from a movie called Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 YEARS AFTER which is about the events 10 years after the show and the Dekarangers coming together for one last mission. Our candidate has usurped the position of chief and is trying to clean away his corruption. Therefore currently working and retired members of the former heroic team need to set aside their new differences formed of the years to figure out this case. Some have lost their way while others have started family life. Despite that their ultimate mission is to escort a girl who will stand as a witness to expose the new chief for his criminal activities. Furthermore our heroes need to do their best to protect her in this journey.
Who are They?[]
Algolian Volka[]
Algolian Volka our first candidate is the leader of the criminal gang called the Algolian Gas Drinkers. He like all members of his species is a mechanical being with a soul embedded within. They are classified as special Alienizers due to how dangerous they are and desire to make a large profit out of their scheme through blackmail. This being to infect planets into Machine slaves and have the people of said planet give a hefty amount of money for a cure. Volka allies himself with Agent Abrella like all Alienizers do to obtain certain weapons and materials to succeed in his said goals of making others give him the most money as possible, at the expense of their suffering.
Kight Reidlich[]
Our candidate is Kight Reidlich who is a corrupt police chief who usurped the position from Doggie Kruger who he incriminated for homicide of an innocent and other criminal operations. Before taking the position he used his already influential power in the SPD organization to benefit space mafias in their dealings. This was possible as he filled the void left by Agent Abrella after his death, leading him to supporting more and more criminals in need of his services. Essentially letting them run their illegal activities with no repercussions or consequences.
What Have They Done?[]
Algolian Volka[]
Algolian Volka and his gang were ready to execute their plan on a planet and decided to target the planet Leslie as their first world. When they arrive Volka sends one of his Algolians to the surface and using the biological virus the inhabitants start to be infected. Of them were innocent children who were playing near the ocean and the surrounding nature. All of them turned into mindless machine slaves as robotic parts engulfed their bodies. We could see specifically the children who were now marching in formation as emotionless machines. The one Dekaranger on Leslie wanted to stop the Algolians from releasing this suffering and pain on these innocents. This was DekaGold who went by Mary Gold and when Volka confronted her he wasn't phased. In fact, they beat her before she fully transformed and she had to flee.
When the Algolians reach to Earth seeing it as the second planet to be used in the spread of this plague. Although, the Dekarangers give chase to their forces and steal the cure from Volka's forces. Volka meets Agent Abrella and pitches the idea of Machine slaves to him at a secret location. Despite the great pitch, Abrella refuses due to the Alogians not possessing the cure which is vital for the "blackmail the planet" plan. Therefore Volka decides to get it back and his forces once again fight the Dekarangers. Meanwhile Mary is worried what is happening to her people who are being oppressed by the disastrous infection that is spreading. This convinces her to betray the Dekarangers and give the cure to Volka. He waits at a warehouse and meets Mary who gives the cure but only if he promises to free her people from the virus. Although he assures her that he will but when the Dekarangers and her boyfriend Ban (DekaRed) arrive he injects her with the contents of the plague while taking the cure.
The scene is tense as Ban while lose Mary who in just hours while turn into a machine slave, so Ban and Volka now fight in an intense battle. After a fight erupts the Algolians one by one start to die and Volka has a duel with Ban. At first he beats the Dekaranger leader to the ground and batters plus tortures him. Although after Ban endures the pain he defeats the machine alien. With Volka's death Ban gains the cure and saves Mary. Therefore Volka's plan is washed away with the Machine slaves being freed.
Kight Reidlich[]
Kight Reidlich had decided to betray these aforementioned Space Mafia members but had been under the suspicion of Doggie Kruger who tracked him down to this meeting. Kruger revealed himself and fought Kight, although the latter managed to overpower and had the former at the losing edge. At that moment the corrupt cop utilized a newly constructed device built in his license called Mirage Dimension which allowed him to take on the form that he scanned. Furthermore he did this to Kruger and once in his appearance Kight used his sword to slaughter the clueless Mafia members. Although an innocent man and his daughter Carrie got into the mess. Despite the fact that they were in the crossfire, Kight sadistically murdered the father in front of his daughter. The daughter using her alien abilities went into her father and was spared from near death. Using security footage Kight incriminated Kruger for all the dealings and murders that had taken place by his hands. As well as that Kruger was drugged into a coma and Kight therefore usurped his position as chief of the SPD branch.
Since Kight wasn’t able to kill Carrie on that day she became a loose end and a threat to his power if word got out of his true crimes. Therefore he sent out a Batsuroid to murder her though it was beaten by Umeko and Sen (Pink and Green respectively). After some convincing Carrie decided to reveal who the real Kight Reidlich was. While he had authorized this trip with his innocent chief persona, the new Dekarangers Red and Yellow were his minions and when on the trip they kidnapped Carrie but Umeko came along.
The truth was that Hoji, who is Dekaranger Blue, had the real Carrie in a safe place within him. Ban who is the former Dekaranger Red used mirage dimension to disguise as Carrie all along. Therefore when brought in front of Kight he wasn’t intimidated and then fought him with a surprised Umeko. Soon the rest of the Dekarangers joined in with Carrie being safely taken to officials to tell her story. Being beaten in the initial fight Kight released a clone of Agent Abrella who was a previous arms dealer that threatened innocents. When the clone was defeated Kight absorbed his two minions in an attempt to increase his own power. Although with a freed Doggie Kruger they used his saber to execute the now exposed Kight Reidlich.
Heinous Standard[]
The Heinous standard of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger is very high and complex with most villains being mass murders, and occasionally even genocidal in nature. So what makes both of these villains stand out is that their actions are on screen since most villains suffer off screen villainy despite the severity of their crimes.
Here we can examine them individually:
Algolian Volka[]
Algolian Volka targeted innocent worlds and turned them all into Machine slaves which is an unique crime for Super Sentai since they were turned mindless and mutated with much pain being inflicted on every individual on said planet. Not to mention the transformation and release of the virus is shown on screen which makes it stand out a lot more. Therefore Volka already surpasses the usual off screen mass murderers. As for the other Algolians they follow the orders of Volka and furthermore this makes him set the heinous standard for the movie as the mastermind of this cruel plan. Overall his cruel mutation and torture of people just to enslave them afterwards makes him exceptionally heinous compared to other Dekaranger villains.
Kight Reidlich[]
Almost every criminal is a mass murderer and is vile but Kight Reidlich stands out. Since Kight does a deplorable on screen murder of Carrie’s father and all the Mafia members. Usually Alienizers come of as standard due to lacking personality in their crimes which Kight doesn’t suffer from. Furthermore adding on to his uniqueness he actually wins against Kruger and uses his likeness to frame so many criminal activities on the innocent police chief. Even drugging Kruger to a coma surpasses what any villain in the show. However even though this is a movie Kight’s resources aren’t too far from any normal criminal. His influence increased only later on.
Mitigating Factors[]
Algolian Volka[]
Volka has no mitigating factors whatsoever in him and is a greedy and cruel individual. Nothing and excuse the fact that he victimized an entire planet to a deadly plague just so he could ground a massive profit. Not to mention how even children were infected and tortured into mindless slaves while they could have been normal and unharmed. Nobody from Planet Leslie had done anything wrong to him yet he chose use them in such a cruel way generating much misery. It should also be mentioned that harming children in Super Sentai is very disgusting that only goes to show how much life matters to him. Furthermore he doesn't keep honor either as when Mary gave him the cure instead of helping her planet he just gave her the virus back. Lastly there is nothing that shows he cares about his subordinates and he just uses them to achieve his own goals.
Kight Reidlich[]
There is nothing resembling compassion or any redeemable trait for that matter to be found in Kight. He is psychopathic and ruthless as he will kill anyone who stands in his way. This is demonstrated where he takes sadistic pleasure in killing Carrie’s father when he could have easily let him go. Furthermore he gave Kruger a fate worse than death so he could grow more powerful. At the end power was the final goal that drives Kight and eliminating loose ends is something he is willing to do.
Not to mention that when he is losing just to save himself he will absorb his two Dekarangers into himself just so he can save his own skin. Showing that everyone is a piece in his mission to maintain control. He ultimately abuses his power to get what he wants and doesn’t care who gets hurt.
Final Verdict[]
Yes to both the greedy slaver and the murderous official.
