Hello guys I’m back with another proposal that will run with my Cancer Zodiarts one (hopefully a little later). Without further ado let me get into a very vile candidate in the Super Sentai franchise.
You know Japan is a dangerous place to be when this happens.
What is the work?[]
Super Sentai is a long running tokusatsu series with many installments through the years. The one we will focus on today is titled Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger. It is about a group of strangers meeting this man called Ashoka who in fact comes from another dimension. This being Dino Earth which is a split fragment of what used to be an unified Earth during the prehistoric times of the dinosaurs. Asuka needs these strangers to team up as the Dino themed Abarangers so they can defend Earth against the cataclysmic cult called the Evolians who wiped Dino Earth and seek to do the same to our Earth.
Who is he?[]
Note: This proposal after this will focus only on the Dino Earth version of Dezumozorlya as he is the version we follow through the series.
Our candidate is the cult leader of the Evolians himself, Wicked Life God Dezumozorlya. This creature is purely a parasitic being that evolved into being after the splitting of Earth when it crashed from an asteroid out in space. When Earth split the being too divided itself into two landing in both separate worlds. The one on the primary Earth commonly referred to by the Evolians as Another Earth went from host to host possessing them and causing chaos through history. The Dino Earth, one who will be the main version of the parasite, created the Evolians while being in an immobile form and desired to lay waste on Dino Earth.
What has he done?[]
When Dezumozorlya landed on Dino Earth it was a peaceful and flourishing land. It then made its goal to annihilate any living being in its path and decided to create an army to invade Dino Earth. To achieve this Dezumozorlya made two amoebas called Voff and Michaela along with creating the bioma soldiers.
With his army assembled his forces started to terrorize the human population and reigned destruction over the once peaceful world. Therefore a resistance formed with its leaders being Asuka, along with siblings Mizuho, and Maharo. It was a constant battle until the Evolians hit very hard and Maharo plus her brother Mizuho were captured. Asuka had told them both that he would always be by their side as a friend and for Maharo even as a lover but he was unable to save her. Both siblings defied the Wicked Life God telling their resistance forces would arrive but it never happened.
With this opportunity transpiring the parasite brainwashed Maharo and Mizuho through incrimination by creating a false vision of Asuka.The fabrication of which showed another woman with Asuka. Essentially it proved to the siblings that Asuka had moved on and abandoned them and for Maharo cheating her with a new lover. Both proceeded to swear allegiance to it but one other thing happened to Maharo. Dezumozorlya impregnated her with a child for it to possess. With a new female baby being born from the parasite’s impregnation, he would then proclaim Maharo as Jannu and Mizuho as Gelidion.
After the baby grew up as a kid she was named Reje and Jannu lost all memory of her past due to the brainwashing. By that time the Evolians had decimated Dino Earth for good with the entire population being wiped out. On top of that the parasite resided in Reje. As it was a wasteland, the one survivor being Asuka escaped to create the Abarangers. Gelidion was sent to invade our Earth and ultimately failed, being killed by Jannu. After that Dezumozorlya sometimes remained dormant but came out of Reje to torture his minions for failure whenever they lost to the Abarangers. Everything changed when a man called Mikoto Nakadai appeared and was a Nihilistic ranger who was out for a thrill.
The evil God made an alliance and for a time they were partnered. In a turn of events soon Mikoto and Reje fell in love and the Wicked Life God was made fully dormant and the cult was usurped. At this point Maharo had been freed from her brainwashing and became amnesiac. The fact unknown at the time was that Mikoto Nakdai who had everything in life before he abandoned it was truly the host of the Another Dezumozorlya who had crashed on our Earth. Therefore Voff and Mikela planned on bringing their leader back. Through this time Dezumozorlya still being in Reje’s body made it forcefully grow into a young adult called Rejewel and using a Giganoid the life God possessed Mikoto and fought the Abarangers before he then fully took over Rejewel’s body.
Using Rejewel’s body there were some more attacks but now the Evolians were ready with their final plan. First it was to use Trinoid #1 to use hundreds of people to form a new body by luring them with cards so they can be controlled. While this almost worked Mikoto helped and they foiled the first plan. Through this fight the parasite tried to suppress Rejewel who was attempting to break free. Needing a new way of obtaining a body Dezumozorlya decided to first deal with the traitor Maharo who had joined the Evolians again but as a double agent. He then took her along with an evolved body of her daughter and started to torture her in front of the Abarangers. At the end Reje was freed with the Wicked Life God being pulled out of her but with the price of her becoming a baby all over again. Along with Maharo being possessed and being taken to the base.
Using Maharo the parasite merged himself with his two loyal servants and then trapped her in the castle. This new plan was to raise a fallen sentient weapon that he can inhabit. To do this Dezumozorlya invoked negative human emotions in innocents and made them commit chaos and anarchy in the streets. Using this energy the sentient weapon was raised. As well as that Mikoto was drawn to the parasitic being whose other fragment was within the Nihilist. Ultimately though the Another Dezumozorlya was destroyed because Mikoto inside of himself decided to fully redeem himself and destroy the corruption in him. Soon he and the sentient weapon were destroyed by the Abarangers forever but at the cost of Mikoto’s life.
Despite that beyond the grave his last piece of essence went into the castle making it a rampaging beast. It would release a cataclysm with more sentient weapons spread around the Earth. Maharo and Asuka confronted and destroyed their inner demons that were manifested and the Abarangers soon vaporized the living castle.
Heinous Standard[]
Dezumozorlya sets the heinous standard for Abaranger. The parasite terrorized Dino Earth and later unleashed a cataclysm upon it which was shown on screen. As the land was polluted and all innocents were slaughtered, not to be seen at all. In the Super Sentai franchise in general this makes him have one of the highest confirmed kill counts up there with Vulgyre and Bazeu.
Dezumozorlya also comes off as uniquely heinous and stands out due to being the only villain to impregnate someone in the entire franchise. Not to mention the torture that Maharo feels to produce a baby to serve as a host is shown on screen and in a way is a gruesome moment. Mikela and Voff just make monsters and don’t do much of anything else. Jannu and Gelidion invade and terrorize which is pretty standard villainy. Reje and Mikoto terrorize and although they do attempt mundicide Dezumozorlya already has wiped out a population of an entire world so he still stands out more.
It should be mentioned that he isn’t a generic doomsday villain as through the entire show he plans his eventual invasion of Earth and has other goals like reviving. Cataclysm is only the ultimate pinnacle in his mission.
Mitigating Factors[]
Dezumozorlya is a heartless and egotistical being that desires to wipe out anything in its path as it’s final goal and has no excuse for it. Furthermore peaceful innocents are terrorized relentlessly before their end, with their lands being polluted. This is what brings fulfillment to the parasite and when lying to Maharo it shows that it will use any means to achieve its goals. Later when invading our Earth it displays two things. One that it is not satisfied with one Earth and will take any life it wants and two that he doesn’t take kindly to failure. Just for simple defeats he constantly tortures Mikela and Voff and shows exaggerated wrath towards them. This proves that they are just dispensable pawns to him. As well as that when possessing others he shows immense sadism and lack of remorse in doing so.
As for moral agency he possesses one since he understands his crimes and is an extraterrestrial being but not one explicitly made of something that renders it amoral.
On top of that even though he is fragmental both still have the same moral agency.

Yes to this parasitic and ruthless cult leader.
