The Little Pale Girl

What is the work?

Terrifier 2 is a 2022 slasher film once again directed by Damien Leone and is a sequel to the 2017 film. A year had passed since the Miles Country Massacre where 8 people were gruesomely murdered by one Art the Clown. It picks up where the last film left off" Art somehow coming back from the grave and putting the coroner in absolute hell before reclaiming his trademark bag of torture tools.

It would seem that the only person destined to destroy the demonic clown is a teenage girl named Sienna whose father left a sword and sketches of a woman wearing "Valkyrie" attire. Despite her attempts to convince her brother Jonathan that even if Art survived, he'd be far away, Art returns to the town to destroy both siblings.

Who is she? What has she done?

The Little Pale Girl is a sinister entity that wears a similar clown/mime outfit that Art the Clown wears and is heavily implied to be the one who resurrected Art when he died the first time in the first Terrifier film. Afterward, the girl would accompany Art on his kills and psychologically starts breaking down Sienna and Jonathan leading to a fire starting in Sienna's room and Jonathan getting suspended from school.

After Art kidnaps Jonathan, the Little Pale Girl mimics his voice to lure Sienna to the abandoned carnival so Art could kill her. The girl takes the form of Sienna's mother who was murdered earlier that day by Art the Clown. She does this to keep Sienna distracted so that Art could stab Sienna, killing her. While Art starts to eat an unconscious Jonathan, Sienna is resurrected by the sword (her father apparently had premonitions of Art before he went insane and committed suicide) and she decapitates Art.

However, the girl returns and takes Art's head leaving. In the mid-credits, Victoria, the only survivor of the first Miles County Massacre, suddenly becomes "pregnant" and gives birth to Art's severed head...with her eye glowing yellow indicating the The Little Pale Girl revived Art again.

Freudian Excuse? Mitigating factors?

She, much like Art, does not speak, but she is depicted as being as malevolent as the clown is. Going into it, we know little about her, but she is obviously not a little girl. There were some theories that she could have been the first victim of Art's but I'd doubt that due to the supernatural power she wields.

As for her relationship with Art, she does things like playing pattycake with him or both of them laugh at the carnage the latter causes. She is even dressed similarly to Art. However, it seems more like one of those "only friends because they are in love with carnage" than a genuine friendship. Make of that as you will.

Heinous standard

Unsure for the most part. As usual, Art is a busy boy with mutilating and torturing a few more victims. He scalps a girl; rips her back open' rips off her arm and breaks her other hand; puts bleach and literally rubs salt into her wounds. When her mother came, she was still alive with Art happily slicing up her legs. Or a clerk gets a beer bottle to the eye with Art dicing his neck until he decapitates him. Or when he stabbed a man in the d*ck until he ripped it off. So...yeah.

With The Little Pale Girl, she is the one that resurrects Art as a means of continuing his spree likely for her amusement and dabbles with psychological torture such as taunting Sienna by showing her visions of her mother's death.
