Ok im back. Following the success of my Hell's Angel proposal, i got another Super Sentai candidate in mind. So without further ado, here's my proposal for Daimaou from Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
What's the work?[]
Ninja Sentai Kakuranger is the 18th entry of the long running Super Sentai franchise since 1975 that started with Himitsu Sentai Gorenger made by Toei and Bandai which ran from 1994-1995 with 53 episodes and 2 movies that crossed over with Ohranger. Long ago, there was a great war between the youkai and the ninja ends up when the youkai were sealed away by 5 great ninja warriors and 400 years later, the remaining youkai who survived tricked Sasuke and Saizou who were the ancestors of Sasuke Sarutobi and Saizou Kirigakure and opened the seal door and unleashing the Youkai. Now all 5 ancestors of the great ninja war must become Ninja Sentai Kakuranger to stop the youkai with the help of Three God Generals.
Who is Daimaou and what has he done?[]
Daimaou is a youkai who leads the Youkai Army Corps and he's also Gashadokuro's father and Daidarabotchi and Yama-uba's older brother. His plan was to plunge the world into chaos, wipe out all of humanity on Earth and turn it into a Youkai paradise.
In the past, he captured Tarou and Jirou who were helping along with Hakumenrou who was Tsuruhime's father which their lives were saved but he turned them into German Sheppard dogs after Hakumentro accepts his offer while they're infiltrating the youkai world to prevent Daimaou from reviving. The Three God Generals stopped Daimaou from resurfacing every time he attempted to do and was sealed away from its seal door.
At the start of the series where Kappa and the rest of the youkai who were previously sealed were unleashed, Daimaou wasn't able to be escaped because he needed his dark powers first in order to escape through the sealed door.
While he was asking his son of how long will he wait so that he can rule the world within his own hands, he literally attacked his own son with youkai lightning bolts. A couple episodes later while the Kakurangers were trying to destroy the sealed door, he empowers his son where he attacks their Shogunzords and knocks them out while the mecha is about to turn into Muteki Shogun. Moments later at the youkai mansion's lab where he appears again as a ball and breathed fire towards his son after he tried to blame on Hakumenrou. After he was successfully resurrected while the Kakurangers tries to destroy it, he made established a new youkai headquarters which it was called the "Skeleton Castle" and abandons their old mansion.
When he made a youkai clone called Daradara in order to defeat the Kakurangers, Ninjaman and their shoguns and after Ninjaman was captured, drained his power and the Three God Generals were defeated, Daimaou continues on controlling Daradara and spits out goo on the Kakure Daishogun which was exploded until they were saved by Tsubasamaru who fired back at Daradara who was knocked back within its Iron Fist Flying Finish. Ninjaman thought that he got his power back after Daradara was defeated but turned out that he survived and as he's mutating into of what powers that Ninjaman has including his parts. While the Muteki Shogun and the Kakure Daishogun were attacking Daradara which was sharing the hits to Ninjaman while he's on the rooftop including Hakumenrou, Daimaou commands Daradara to finish off the Muteki Shogun and the Kakure Daishogun and drain all of their power and also made the Kakurangers defeated.
While Tsuruhime was trying to look for her father after Bun told her and the Kakurangers that her father was in the woods and while her father attacks them who wanted them to escape, Daimaou attacks them with his lightning bolts thus Flowery Kunoichi Team and the Dorodoros appearing within and after they escaped the forest, Daimaou attacks them with his lightning bolts again and appeared before him. When Hakumenrou tries to attack Daimaou, he holded him with his lightning power, lifted him up because he betrayed him and made him vanished away, plus restricted the Kakuranger's morphing process from his barrier and commanded the Flowery Kunoichi Team to capture them, but Sasuke got away with it. As he asked the Flowery Team for knowing where Sasuke is after he went to the ocean, Daimaou commanded Daradara to siphon the remaining Kakurangers' powers just like how he did to Ninjaman earlier and made him continue to lure out the Three God Generals and continues to cause chaos in the city. After the Three God Generals arrived, Daimaou commands Daradara to fight with them which also shares the hits to Jiraiya, Seikai, Saizou and Tsuruhime and blasts them with his blaster and the Kakuranger Balls as well. After Sasuke had a brief battle with Daimaou and given his teammate's powers back including Ninjaman's and asked of how did he knew Daradara's secret and grew into a giant size after the throne room collapsed, calling them novice which angered Ninjaman, turning him into Samuraiman and thus had a brief shogun battle which ends up getting his clone killed.
When the final battle is near, he commanded Yama-uba to use Hakumenrou to cause chaos in the city who made him revived as a mindless stone replica statue. After Daimaou witnesses about his sister tries to be defeated who turns out that she was invincible, he commanded her to continue on with the rampage and shortly where Yama-uba was defeated, he performed a suicide attack with his Skeleton Castle as a fireball towards the Kakurangers, Hakumenrou, Tarou and Jirou but they survived the destruction of the Skeleton Castle. Following the Skeleton Castle's destruction, Daimaou used his lightning bolts from his staff towards them which knocked them out and while the final battle was attempted where it was interrupted by the Three God Generals, Daimaou did tell the Kakurangers that he's waiting for them in the city and after they found him, he splits into three clones to find which ones the real one where he threw an elderly woman off the stairs, pushing a baby down the street which blasts Jiraiya back for saving the baby, and exploding a building. After the clones were merged back and while the Kakurangers were trying to hold him, he knocked them back and attacked them with his lightning bolts from his staff again and holded them. After a final battle with the Flowery Kunochi Team who was turned back into cats, Daimaou grew big but was aided by the Three God Generals and returned to his size and moments later he was finally resealed along with the previous Youkai that the Kakurangers defeated.
Mitigating Factors[]
Since he's the father of Gashadokuro (aka Junior) and the older brothers of Daidarabotchi and Yama-uba, he did wanted his son to bring him into the Earth's ground and didn't want him to admit his failures and he did pledged his allegiance to Hakumenrou. When he was resurrected and after his son died, he did say that his son was a fool and was going to make him become his heir. When Sunakake Babba was wanting to marry him, he tried to step back from her and called her an old hag when he told her for good luck. He was infuriated when Hakumenro betrayed him when he wanted to help the Kakurangers. While Sasuke saved his teammates including Ninjaman's and had a shogun battle, he did enjoy having fun with Daradara who was his clone and was upset where he was defeated. He did liked his brother and sister and got upset where the Kakurangers defeated them and wanted them to take revenge for the deaths of his siblings and his son. There's a few comedic moments where after the shogun battle in episode 44 and after the seal door was resealed along with the other youkai that the Kakurangers defeated, Daimaou did that state that he'll be back but he wasn't seen again and stated that humans are filthy because they thinked of themselves, and hurting the others (including friends) for no reason, taking lives without thinking twice and became the power for the youkai. But overall, Daimaou is well known for his incarnation of hatred on humanity who shall be reborn and is also well known on specific on human emotions which was part of his moral agency.
Heinous Standards[]
Like i said on my Hell's Angel proposal, Super Sentai's heinous standards are extremely high despite being the main villain of the show and ran on the Heishi Era and unlike the other youkai such as Gashadokuro, Kappa, Amikiri, Ushioni etc. Daimaou is your ordinary destructive youkai who wants to take over the world and turn it into a Youkai Paradise. He controlled his clone to lure the Three God Generals and siphoned Saizou's, Jiraiya's, Seikai's, Tsuruhime's and Ninjaman's powers and sharing their hits from the powers that his clone siphoned. He performed a suicide attack on them from his Skeleton Castle as a fireball which was destroyed but they survived when the Kakurangers, Hakumenrou, Tarou and Jirou dodged it. Before he was resealed along with the other youkai that the Kakurangers defeated, he caused mass chaos in the city where it was splitten as clones where he pushed a baby down to the street but was saved by Jiraiya, throwing an elderly woman off the stairs who was saved by Sasuke and Tsuruhime and exploded a building, leaving dozens of debris.
