Throughout the story, he met another Rider named Geiz Myokoin, a mysterious prophet Woz, and all of the Heisei Riders from the past.
Who is he?
Asura (アスラ) is the minor antagonist in Kamen Rider Zi-O. He was formerly a member of Team Baron who got kicked out for unknown reason, which leads himself to become Another Gaim (アナザー鎧武 Anazā Gaimu). He soon took over Team Baron and was defeated by Sougo Tokiwa/Kamen Rider Zi-O.
He was portrayed by Yūki Tomotsune.
What he has done?
Asura was once a member of Team Baron before he was kicked out by Kaito and the team for unknown reasons. After he furiously lashes out at them, Swartz corrupting him into becoming Another Gaim. With his newfound abilities, he banished Kaito and his team to Helheim forest and took over as the new leader. However, Sougo travels back in time to defeat him with GaimArmor, but Kouta reverted the destruction back to normal and telling him to believe in Geiz.
Five years later, Asura still continued his leadership of Team Baron. When one of the member asked him if he was the monster, an enraged Asura transformed into Another Gaim and banished him to the Helheim forest. During his rampage, he also banished Geiz to the forest after he saved a person from being attacked. During the performance, Tsukuyomi and Sougo interrupting the event which caused himself to transformed into Another Gaim, revealed his monstrous form that caused everyone to run away in fear. During the fight, Asura was about to banished Zi-O to the forest until another Zi-O saved him. After both Zi-Os managed to overpower him, another Zi-O stops him from finishing Another Gaim which they're defeated and Another Gaim easily gets away with it.
At the top of the building, Asura asked Swartz what should he do since everyone knows he's a monster. Swartz tells him that he will reach for the fame as a king, much to his dismay as he walks away. When Sougo and Tsukuyomi met Kouta, Asura vengefully went to Sougo for tarnished his reputation. He transformed into Another Gaim and attacked Sougo before he transformed as well. During the fight, Another Gaim summoned Elementary Inves to aid him. When Zi-O was about to use the Gaim Ridewatch, Swartz intervenes it and stops the time. Another Gaim allowed Swartz to stole the Gaim Ridewatch and threw it to Helheim forest. When he was practicing his dance moves at the abandoned warehouse, Sougo confronted him before they fought. After Geiz returned and gave the Gaim Ridewatch to Zi-O, past Sougo travels back to 2013 to confront the past Another Gaim. Both Zi-Os managed to defeat Another Monster with GaimArmor by finished him with Squash Time Break. After he was defeated and all of the Team Baron members were returned from the Helheim forest, Asura begged Kaito to let him rejoin but Kaito expelled him for his actions instead.
Asura might be stand out alongside Swartz and Kamen Rider Barlckxs as one of the most evil villains in Kamen Rider Zi-O. Compared to other Another Riders who are either lacks a moral agency or has sympathetic qualities, Asura is the only one who does stand out as the worst of all than the rest of the them. He banished several people especially those who gets in his way to Helheim forest, including Kaito and his team whom he banished for five years. He even summoned the monsters just to make Zi-O had a difficult time of fighting him. On the top of all, he even used his own powers for self-serving reasons. His actions might be the reason why he was kicked out in the first place.
His banishment from Team Baron is more likely a Freudian Excuse rather than a sympathetic one, which caused him to hold a grudge against Kaito and the others. He has no qualm of banishing others, especially his former teammates and those who opposed him, to Helheim forest. As the team leader and the usurper of the Team Baron, he never cares about his teammates, such as banishing one of the member to Helheim forest when he was asking if he was a monster. He also cares more about power and fame, as shown when he was upset that everybody feared him as they sees him what a monster he truly was all because he is Another Gaim in fact. His friendship with Swartz is more of a pragmatic rather than being loyal since he had no problem for him to helped him achieve his goal. When Asura begged Kaito to let him rejoin the team, Kaito coldly brushes him off for his actions against him, which proves that he doesn't deserve any sympathy at all since he only cared about himself than others.
Watching two episodes in one day makes me think that he could fit as one of the Kamen Rider PE candidates. Anyways, i'll give it a big YES as result.
