Well, since i've finished watching Ultraman Z, i've find this Big Bad of the show to be very horrifying in my opinion. Just no matter how vile and destructive he is, i believe i had to made this proposal out of this parasitic alien life form called Celebro. I hope Pat141elite will be excited if i made it.
What's the work?[]
Ultraman Z (ウルトラマンZ Urutoraman Zetto) is a Japanese tokusatsu sci-fi TV show created by Tsuburaya Productions. It is the 32nd entry of Ultra Series and the eighth and last entry for New Generation Hero (ニュージェネレーションヒーロー Nyū Jenerēshon Hīrō) lineup, celebreates the 10th anniversary of Ultraman Zero. It was first aired on TV Tokyo on June 20, 2020.
Long time ago, the Devil Splinters were scattered in the entire universe, causing chaos throughout in here. While Ultramen and the others fought for peace, a mysterious being used these items to destroy planets one by one. There was an Ultra, who was Zero's disciple, called Ultraman Z, chased the monster alone, making his way to Earth. On the other hand, there was an Earth defense force called STORAGE, where the hot-blooded and passionate young man named Haruki Natsukawa works here. To protect the Earth and defeat the evil monsters, Haruki and Z bonded and worked together.
Who is he?[]
Celebro (セレブロ Sereburo) is the main antagonist of Ultraman Z. He is a cunning and destructive parasitic alien life form who went on numerous planets and destroyed them for his own amusement. Arriving at the Earth, he possessed several GAJF employees for his own scheme. After the creation of Ultroid Zero, Celebro turned it into Destrudos to make a final move of destroying the Earth. Finally, he was eventually defeated by Ultraman Z and was captured for his notorious actions.
What he has done?[]
Celebro is a cunning and manipulative parasitic alien life form who enacted the The Civilization Self-Destruction Game (文明自滅ゲーム Bunmei Jimetsu Gēmu) on many civilizations for his own amusement. He went on many planets to manipulate the entire civilizations to create many weapons to defend themselves, but most of the weapons turned against them and destroyed the planet in result. He became infamous in sorts of universe due to his notoriety, as what Jugglus Juggler was heard. Not only that, he was also responsible for the modification of Grigio Raiden as one of many results for his intervention in space civilizations. This leading most of humans studied it and founded the SC Units, which leads the creation of STORAGE.
After the heroes confront Absolute Tartarus, Celebro possessed Genegarg and stole the Z Riser and Ultra Medals from Land of Light, causing Ultraman Z and Zero followed after him. As Bullton was released, Zero entrusts Z to take care of Z Riser and Ultra Medals before he chased the monster down to Earth. At the Earth, Z met Haruki Natsukawa and fought with the monster together. After the monster almost killed them, they merge together into one and finished it. However, Celebro survived from the attack and possessed a Monster Research Center worker named Shinya Kaburagi, where he would scheme and summoned the monsters for his plans.
When Juggler and Haruki broke into his hideout, Juggler threatened Celebro into giving Haruki a Belial Ultra Medal, which he reluctantly gives him. Upset at his loss of Belial Medal, an enraged Celebro yelled at Ultraman Z to give him the medal back before he was pushed away by the force from the attack after Z reluctantly finished Metsuboros while laughing maniacally. Due to the heavy injury on Kaburagi's body, he switched the possession to Captain Takeshi Asano and arrested Kaburagi by blaming him for all of the atrocities.
Since the D4 crisis has started, Celebro switched his possession from Asano to Kuriyama in order to force others into using the D4 Ray. During his arguement with Juggler (also known as Hebikura) whether to use the D4 Ray or not, he finally forced Yoko to used the D4 Ray on Kelbims, which almost destroyed the entire reality before Ultraman Z managed to prevent this from happening. Celebro then disband STORAGE for not following "his orders", which it will be replaced by SAAG and overseeing the creation of Ultroid Zero. Celebro transformed into Five King to fight with Juggler for the ownership of the robot, not if he threatened to absorb Haruki if he doesn't complied. After beam clash, an injured Celebro went to take the Belial Medal away from Haruki. Back at the headquarters, he revealed Hebikura's identity and claimed the others to be alien in disguise. At the hangar, he revealed his true intentions to Yoko before he quickly possessed her, taking Ultroid Zero with him.
Celebro went to Monster Containtment Sites and later the entire world to absorbed hibernated monsters here. After absorbing Red King, Ultraman Z intervened his attempted absorption of the egg. Celebro used all of the Kaiju Medals to transformed Ultroid Zero into Destrudos. Z effort to defeat him, but Destrudos is proved to be more powerful than him and was able to defeat him easily. The monster then traveled around the world and attacked every major city, wiping out Allied Forces and left STORAGE to be the only one. Haruki and Juggler decided to take King Joe and Windom and confront Destrudos after it returned to Japan. With their efforts, Haruki managed to get Yoko escaped from Celebro's possession, which he switched it into possessed Destrudos instead. Transformed into Ultraman Z Delta Rise Claw, he fought with Destrudos until turned back into original form after Beliarok explodes itself. Determined not to give up, Z finally stand up and fought with Destrudos with full strength. Finally, he finished the monster and destroyed it into pieces. Celebro eventually survived from the attack, but Juggler prevented him from escaping, allowing Yuka and Kaburagi captured him for dissection as a punishment for his notorious actions.
Heinous standard[]
If i remember correctly, Ultraman Z was really a light-hearted show, though there are few where it surprisingly bit dark. Celebro is the only one to stand out while the other Kaijus where some of them were being used for his plans and doing it themselves, plus some of them lacked Moral Agency (with an exception of Alien Barossa).
Celebro went on many planets and manipulated the entire civilizations by using fear to destroyed them for his own amusement. He then possessed Genegarg and stole the Z Riser and Ultra Medals from the Land of Light, with Ultraman Z followed him down to Earth. During the battle with Ultraman Z and Haruki, he endangered the entire civilians and almost killed the pilot to death. After Genegarg's destruction, he possessed an unlucky worker named Shinya Kaburagi just to continued carry out with the plans. Throughout the series, he send most of the monsters for his plans. During the D4 Crisis, he possessed Director Kuriyama to force others into using the D4 Ray and leading the creation of Ultroid Zero. Celebro then shift his possession to Yoko so he could control the robot by himself and mutated it into a horrifying and powerful monster called Destrudos, causing the destruction on the entire world.
Mitigating factors[]
There's nothing mitigating about this manipulative parasite. He is nothing but a sadistic destructive megalomaniac who brings pain and destruction to the entire civilizations and many planets for his own amusement. While possessing Kaburagi, he did nothing but acting silent towards others, showing his anti-socialism. When Juggler threatened him into giving Haruki the Belial Medal, he only gave the Medal to him not only out of altruism, but out of reluctance since he had nothing to do with escape from the threat. He also used the entire humanity and the monsters as his "pawns" for his own plans.
