Finally going to finish with my candidates of Moon Knight Vol 9, this time for a one-shot villain that appeared at the beggining, and one that is not that interesting compared to the previous ones, let's begin, this will be short.
Copied my proposal from here: https://tropershub.forumotion.com/t39p270-cm-proposal-thread#4256
Let’s get into one of the comics that I got to read, and that I liked pretty much. This is going to be short of a proposal compared to the ones that are coming.
What is the Work?[]
Moon Knight is a series of comics of Marvel starring the titular named character. In these ones, Marc Specter was saved by the egyptian god known as Khonshu, becoming his fist, that would now protect people and other beings in the night, while also having multiple mental problems that got him to develop two alternative personalities like Steve Grant and Jake Lockley.
This time, we are focusing on Vol 9, which happens after Khonshu tried to take over the world while using Moon Knight, which ended with the god being imprisoned in Asgard, so now Moon Knight is still working without his help, helping people that need him in his city while being distrusted by other heroes. What Moon Knight doesn’t know is that someone got an interest in him, but we are not going to talk about this person, but someone that he hired.

All of this people are controlled by Hawley, and are talking for him, while also telling why he does his crimes.
Who is Leonard Hawley? What did he do?[]
Leonard Hawley is a guy with telepathic powers, who ends up being hired by Zodiac to break Moon Knight.
Having work for multiple people where he enjoyed ‘raising hell’ just for sadism, Leonard ends up using his powers (which work in a pretty weird way, anyone who gets his sweat in their organism, gets controlled by him) to take over the minds of a whole building of elderly people, using them to attack multiple people just to lure Moon Knight to the building.
Revealing his identity to Moon Knight, Hawley surrounds him with dozens of elderly people, pretty much telling him that he is going to force Moon Knight to fight all of those innocent people, knowing that Moon Knight would probably end up killing them or breaking their bones if this happened.
In this situation, Moon Knight decides to challenge him into getting in his mind, using Hawley’s pride in his power for that, a challenge that Leonard easily accepted, planning to make Moon Knight slaughter everyone in the building just for the funnies, but what he didn’t know is that Marc Spector’s mind was a lot more scary than he thought, a mind so powerful that ends up trapping him inside of it, locked forever, with this body only getting to repeat the word “Moon”. Leonard Hawley was stopped forever, and he will never get out.
Mitigating Factors[]
Nothing, just a sadistic man that enjoys causing pain by using his powers to use innocent people to attack others.
Heinous Standard[]
Although the heinous standard of Moon Knight is pretty high, with a lot of horrible villains all around it, like Raul Bushman, one of the most personal villains of the anti-hero, committing a bunch of atrocities all across the series, and of course, other minor villains who have killed multiple people, went to city scale, killers of children, a lot of villains.
But for a one-shot villain that has a power that only works if someone consumes his sweat… I feel he is fine for what he does, a sadist person that enjoys taking dozens of people bodies to use them to attack brutally other people, getting to use in specific elderly people, while also using them as human shields against Moon Knight, and then attempting to take over Moon Knight’s mind to make him slaughter them all. With all of this cruelty, not having that much resources and his use of his mental powers being pretty unique for Moon Knight, I feel that he counts.
Final Verdict[]
A yes for the janitor that uses his sweat to take over people’s bodies.
